DO NOT BUY YOUR CAR FROM 401 DIXIE VOLKSWAGEN I visited 401 Dixie Volkswagen and bought a car in February 2022. Ravi Sharma (Sales Rep) assisted me and said that the car would be delivered by May 2 visited 401 Dixie Volkswagen and bought a car in February 2022. I was in touch with Ravi during the time I was waiting for the car and he informed me that the car will be arriving Mid-April 2022. He also shared me a screenshot of the cars coming in with their expected delivery date (official VW document). Ravi mentioned that he was expecting to receive 5 cars and that my car was one of them. On April 12, 2022, I was informed that the Manager Christopher Smith was fired as the dealership was apparently selling the same car to many of their clients. At this point in time also I was told that the delivery of my car is expected as per schedule. On 14 April 2022, when I contacted Ravi, I learnt that he also quit 401 Dixie Volkswagen but asked me to contact Ali Abbas (the new Manager of the dealership). When I contacted Ali Abbas, he informed me that the order for my car was never placed with VW although they had taken my money in Feb. He told me to place a new order for the car and the new car will take around 6 months to be delivered. He did not have any answer when I asked him why the order of the car was never placed? Ali Abbas was non-cooperative and it seemed he just didn't want to sell a car. The only thing he told me was that he was NEW. Ali is like a fresher who is at management level. I really don't know what the management saw in him. He doesn't know anything about the process and also doesn't care for his clients. He also doesn't know anything about the car or what the company exactly offers. Completely useless fellow. I also spoke to Ali's manager, Nick, and he was also the same. 401 Dixie Volkswagen is just taking your money and not doing anything. SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY AND DO NOT VISIT 401 DIXIE VOLKSWAGEN. They are ok when you go in to buy but God help you after that is done. Shawn was very rude to us when we visited the dealership for the first time to purchase a VW Golf. He said we were "not honest" customers, I've never heard something like that ever before. Underhanded Salesmen and Hidden Fees Went in looking to buy a CPO 2016 Golf R, and trade-in my 2015 Jetta. After sending information and pictures they offered me $9000, which was about $1 Went in looking to buy a CPO 2016 Golf R, and trade-in my 2015 Jetta. After sending information and pictures they offered me $9000, which was about $1000 above market average. After sending me a quote I noticed quite a few discrepancies: The trade-in value on the quote was only $8000, there was a "security package" for $600 added which ended up being a pure-profit insurance policy for your keys and wheels that the dealership offers. An additional $400 CPO fee, which I was explained was "there to lower the interest rate". They also swapped out the typical 2 year CPO-standard promotional .9% interest loan with a Scotia loan with a 5.99% interest rate for 2yrs. After speaking with the salesman he explained to me that the discrepancy between his offer of $9000 and the quoted $8000 was that he was including the GOVERNMENT MANDATED TAX BENEFITS I received from trading in the vehicle and saving $1000 in taxes .. in the trade-in offer... It was clear to me at this point that this dealership was using underhanded methods and could not be trusted to sell a vehicle. More
