I visited 401 Dixie Hyundai for a service on my Sonata, mentioning an issue with the steering. They recommended the 3rd package service, which I agreed to. However, I later received a call from them statin mentioning an issue with the steering. They recommended the 3rd package service, which I agreed to. However, I later received a call from them stating that my rotors were in poor condition and needed to be either replaced or machined. This was surprising, as I had a service done 5,000 KM ago at another Hyundai dealership, where I was informed that the brakes were in good condition. I subsequently returned to my previous Hyundai dealership for a second opinion. They inspected my vehicle and confirmed that there was no need to replace or machine the rotors and brake pads, contrary to the advice from 401 Dixie Hyundai. They assured me that the brake service was adequate and would last for more kilometers. My car is relatively new, being only 1.5 years old. More

Terrible experience with service, mechanics didnt even check the the fuel ecenomy gauge issue and the service rep told me everything is normal according the the mechanics. I had to escalate it to service check the the fuel ecenomy gauge issue and the service rep told me everything is normal according the the mechanics. I had to escalate it to service manager. He then test drove my vehicle and saw that my fuel economy gauge is totally malfunctioning, I am now waiting for the dealership to get back to me but i dont understand what the mechanics checked because service manager clearly saw the issue that mechanics were claiming to be normal.
