First of all- We told Zion that we did not need the "Protection Package". He stated that it was already done and that every new and/or Certified vehicle that you sell has this $900 item? 10 minutes later, while looking at the car with the Service Manager I noticed the tires were very worn. This manager stated that new tires would be installed. Had the service center already put Nitro in bad tires... or was Zion lying? I did not call him out on it- as we were getting new tires. We had also asked him about another "Certified" Highlander that was listed as "coming soon". He immediately stated that DCH had bought it at auction and that it would take "quite a while" to get the Title. Two days later this car was listed as "bought & serviced at DCH". When I TEXTED Zion about this he wrote "That may have been another one not sure". IT WAS THE ONLY OTHER ONE. I believe he just wanted to make the cash sale. It only got worse from there. When I texted him regarding the difficulties imposed upon us and the time wasted trying to get a "Certified" car repaired... his response was "No worries". Look at his phone please. I called immediately after arriving home with our "Certified" Highlander. I was told we would have to make an appointment- then I was told that loaner cars were hard to come by. We were repeatedly assured- by numerous DCH employees- that we would receive an itemized bill for the so-called "Protection Package" yet we NEVER got one. $400 for Nitro? DCH did not even install the (industry standard) green caps. $500 for a blinking brake light? Research shows it's a $30 part that takes 1/2 hour to install. I asked repeatedly to speak with a manager and would be called by a lower level employee. It took over a month to finally get a car- that never should have left DCH- repaired. AND IT's STILL NOT RIGHT.
