First of all, she did not dress professional. Felt like I was looking at someone just coming out of the gym. My husband was looking to lease a car for me but I was very hesitate,fearful and had lots of questions and concerns. I just have to say that working with Val Lamb was wonderful. Our daughter Natalie was looking to lease a car and needed one that would fit in her budget. We had been looking at many places both dealerships and private owners but couldn't find anything. Then we came to Les Standford and had Val and everything fell into place. Val bent over backwards to help us. I don't think we have EVER had such a caring, compassionate, and helpful car salesperson as her (and we've had a lot of cars over the years!) It was because of her that we bought a GM (we have at this time 2 other brands of cars). We have never leased a car before so we had MANY questions and Val was extremely patient and professional and answered every one of them. We can't thank her enough!! If all goes well with the car Natalie may be very interested in buying it after the lease is up. This was our daughter's first new car purchase and Val made it very special for her. We will DEFINITLY reccomend people to Val and Les Standford (everyone else we ran into there was very nice too) for their car needs. Thanks again Val and Les Standford. Forgot to mention that we are from another area than Dearborn but because we liked this place and service that we came 35 miles! I think this too says something about the place. I came from a dealership that I was very disenchanted with. Ms. Lamb displayed a professional, and pleasant demeanor. I came in with a choice of two cars, one a Chevy Malibu the other an Impala. I informed Ms. Lamb of what colors I did not wish to see, and she respected my wishes. Not once did she try to force something I did not ask to see on me. Ms. Lamb’s main focus was what I wanted. She gave me hope from the beginning. At one point she went out of her way to the associate dealership in another city to retrieve a car of my interest. I was so grateful she did not try to entertain me with other vehicles that I was not interested. There were a few cars in the showroom that she asked me if I had considered due to end of the year discounts, and other features, still she showed no compulsion. Although I didn’t have top credit scores; Ms Lamb spent a lot of time with me. She was patient in answering my many questions. She was very knowledgeable of her products, and she provided me with wonderful history of some vehicles. If there was something she may not have had an answer for she contacted me with the answer, that same day after hours. Val stayed in contact with me while she was working on my behalf. The overall dealership was highly professional, and I highly recommend Ms. Val Lamb. More

I went shopping at another Chevrolet dealer and the other American competitors I was extremely discouraged getting a new car would ever happen. It seems as soon as they find out bankruptcy, not hiding it, t American competitors I was extremely discouraged getting a new car would ever happen. It seems as soon as they find out bankruptcy, not hiding it, these competitors feel they can talk down to you and force you into a car you dont want or will be of no use to you. So I was feeling down and trying to make myself come to terms with my financial situation. I was referred to Val by a friend and assured she knew her stuff and would take care of me.Well, take care of me is what she did. In truth, I did not get my preferred vehicle but I did get a new vehicle, #2 choice, that will fit my family, my budget and ultimately make me more credit worthy. Val and I spoke many times over the phone and after HER business hours. She explained thoroughly why I could not get my #1 choice and I "get it". I can even explain to other and I now understand the small print in car ads. Never did Val speak down to me, while all the time assuring me I would be happy. Guess what I AM happy. I know after I am done with my current vehicle I WILL be able to go back to her with my #1 choice and she will make it so I drive #1 choice off the lot. More

2011 had became a very trying year for me to say the least. It all began June 19th on 696. COndtruction haven. ALl I wanted to do was take my children to Dave and Busters. Well the Green Tahoe didn't see it was necessary and stopped abruptly in the exit lane. Well luckily I was capable and quick enough to brake where my car went under the back end and needless to say my car was totaled. I have been renting a vehicle since. THANKS TO VAL, I was able to purchase a car----P U R C H A S E a car. All the other big name dealerships along wiht a high school buddy who is in the buisness did not want to go the extra mile for me and my family. I truly thank her. and only wish I had contacted her sooner. I actually knew her from another dealership and told I was going to save up enough money for a downpayment. Well the other dealerships didn't want my money. Val Lamb of Les Stanford Chevrolet Cadillac Dealership said she could make it happen. Now I am well on my way of getting my crfedit back in order. I hope she reads this along with other consumers, because my Christmas gift thanks to a call on 12/23/11 from Val. New Years was extremely perfect. More

Val Lamb went above and beyond my expectations to get me into a new car. With my credit history, I didn't think a new car was possible. But clearly I didn't know Val's capabilities.
