The whole process of cancelling my old leasing contract, registering and insuring the new car was taken care of efficiently. I am very pleased with Gate's Nissan in Wilimantic, CT and would not hesitate in recommending them. The physical environment is clean and comfortable.and all of the staff are friendly and helpful. Horrible experience Spoke with GMC they located a truck for me so I called the dealership to set something up. Salesman sends me a picture of the truck says see you later. They were beating a deal my local dealership had so I took the 1.5 hr drive out to them. Show up they told me the truck is sold. Speak to sales manager Mr. Gates he tells me they took a deposit the night before. Had a friend call 2 days later because the truck was still on the site. Car was still for sale and they told him to take the driver to come look at it even being out of state. He asked the salesman to please verify the truck was still available. After being on hold for 5 mins he comes back and says 100% the truck is still for sale. I call Mr. Gates back after hearing this and he tells me it's not available someone is buying the truck today. This place is the biggest scam! Lies after lies! Wasted my time and my gas to drive drive there and was totally disrespectful! Called GMC Corp and filed a complaint! More

Positive and Transparent I have had terrible experiences interacting with car dealership people. However, interacting with Gates, was one of the best car buying experiences. I I have had terrible experiences interacting with car dealership people. However, interacting with Gates, was one of the best car buying experiences. I was vey apprehensive about signing a lease because I was not sure if the deal I was getting was fair. However, after weeks of interacting with the staff, and having all my many many questions answered multiple times, I feel great about my purchase. As an out of state customer, I will say the state fees in CT are not the best BUT Gates worked around these fees by giving me the best deal for my circumstances and preferences. Overall, I would definitely refer friends to this dealership. More

That was my experience at Gates GMC Buick Nissan in N.Windham. It is a scary feeling to walk into a huge, modern car dealer like Gates especially when you are an old grandma with minimal knowledge about cars. This feeling disappeared when I walked into Gates GMC Buick Nissan. I was treated like a queen by everybody. And I was not buying a high end Corvette but an used med grade car. My sales person was Jarid Leo. Wow! I sit down with him and he studied me like a book by listening carefully and taking notesI I told him exactly what I wanted from my car. After test driving two cars he knew exactly what was the perfect third car he introduced to me. He was right. Jarid made me feel like he was my friend. I never felt hurried or pressed. I was having a good time. Laughing a lot. Jared has a great experience and knowledge about cars and he explained me clearly all the details making sure I had understood . It was obvious that his biggest goal was getting me a car that made me happy. I was also very impressed with the dealer. The whole car sale process was effective and fast. They sure knew what they were doing. A few hours later I drove my dream car home smiling and happy, confident that I made a great purchase. I felt I could trust this dealer. More
