Sept. 2023 - I went in knowing I wanted a used Acura RDX from their lot I first test drove the car with Juan he was a very nice man and he deserves the one 2023 - I went in knowing I wanted a used Acura RDX from their lot I first test drove the car with Juan he was a very nice man and he deserves the one star I had to give - I called back about two weeks later and was now working with Victor I told him I would be in to buy the car that day - I showed up with a check at full price of the car Stanley helped out while Victor was working with another couple at the time - all paper work was done but there was a hiccup with my insurance (it was a Friday after hours they were closed) - I told Stanley and/or Victor to add my mom to the insurance Stanley went on to say that it was not necessary take dealer plates come back in on Monday - fine Monday came I spoke with my insurance company where the woman told me to not leave the dealership until my mothers name was on the car because it was her policy I was just a driver - called Victor let him know to redo the paper work with my mothers name and we would be in that day to sign the new paperwork he agreed it would be all set just need signatures. My mother & I arrive Victor is gone but Stanley was there hands me the paperwork all for me to read that my mothers name is not on the paperwork - told him my insurance company told me not to leave he managed to convince my mother and myself that it would be fine he "couldn't" redo the paper work because it was already sent to the DMV. Long story short him and my insurance company went back and forth speaking over the phone where my insurance company let him know he ILLEGALLY registered my car leaving me with no insurance - my registration from CT DMV got sent to Lexus where they OPENED my mail and overnighted it to me in a new envelope - I had to wait for my title to go from NY - CT which it did not show up to CTs DMV until months later after me making multiple phone calls to Stanley & Victor I made a phone call to CT DMV where they magically received my title a week after I made a phone call to S&V where the woman told me they just sent it over - now I had to go to CT DMV where I had to wait over an hour to reregister my car costing me over $100 - I made a phone call again to Stanley & Victor where I asked for them to reimburse me for their f**k up and I was still waiting for my spare tire that was supposed to come with the car - I did not receive my spare tire until MARCH 2024 only to find out that I was not given the tool to tighten my spare tire so I can not even place it under my car where it belongs and I am currently still waiting for my check (APRIL 2024) where I have text messages from Victor telling me that it was processed. This is the short story - there were multiple calls in between these time frames as I tried to speak to a general manager multiple times where they seemed to never be available & when I finally did get in touch with one he promised to call back with everything situated - NEVER received that phone call. They saw a young female and took advantage of a quick sale where I paid full price - this was by far the WORST customer service I have ever received! More
