I would give zero if I could. Scheduled basic oil change and when I arrived they told me it would be a 5 hour wait for my car! At no time did they notify me of the extreme wait time... why bother with a confirmed time. One way shuttle, what good is that if they have your only car and you are left flat footed as you have not made arrangements to have someone drive you back! Will never schedule service here again. I had a very good experience buying a car here. Took it here for the first dealer service. My interaction for a ride really left a bad taste in my mouth. When I got there, I said I will need a ride. Service advisor said no problem, we will have you taken care of. After I finished with the advisor, paper work and all that, I said I need a ride and was told to go to the cash dept to ask for a ride. I went there, there were about 5 people behind desk, who all ignored me. I wrote my name down on a list. Still no attention so I asked if anyone can help with a ride. There were two ladies chatting away, they looked at me and said just write your name down. I said, I already did, when will I get a ride? One of the ladies said anywhere from 30-90 minutes. I said, I have to be somewhere in 45 minutes. She said sorry, the driver is not here. I asked when did the leave? I don't know. When will the driver be back? I don't know, all the time with a sign of irritation that I was interrupting. So, in this day of connectivity, they have no idea where the driver is, when he left, where all he left to drop people off, when he is likely to come back. Moreover it was the attitude of 'we don't care' that got to me. I would call this a bad planning, bad management, bad attitude. If I was the manager, I would get the driver to leave a note on when he is leaving, is likely to be back and what all towns he left for. Give the driver a trackable cellphone so that the counter folks can see where he is on his trip. Toyota service used to be not like this. I am rating all the people as 5* because I do not want to name names. The whole department from my service advisor to the cashier department was bad. More

I had visited many Toyota dealership in the San Francisco bay area. Sunnyvale Toyota is one of the best dealer I had been to. The service department is really good. There are dealers closer to my house but I bay area. Sunnyvale Toyota is one of the best dealer I had been to. The service department is really good. There are dealers closer to my house but I always go here since the schedule is usually not as busy as the other places. The service representatives are really nice too. When I want to bring my car in for an oil change and alignment, Simon has helps me made an appointment and gave me discount on the service charge. He was really attentive, polite, knowledgeable and most importantly, wasn't trying to sell me service parkage. He lets me know what were the options and let me decide what to do without pushing or forcing me. I highly recommend go find Simon when bringing the car in for service. More

From the initial contact through the final sale, Kelvin was very professional and helped us with all of our MANY questions. He was always very positive but with no pressure throughout the transaction. He even came in on his day off to help us finalize the deal and drive away as happy, satisfied customers. Kelvin helped us with our test drive(s) (yes, we took more than one) and was always determined to help us do what was right for us. No pressure, no tricky "dealer speak" - just straight-forward conversation. Roy (finance) was also very excellent to work with. Accommodated us in this Covid environment and was quick and to the point on the paperwork. No hard up-sell / very knowledgable. More

No parts, and no problems fo My first Mirai service beyond the covered ToyotaCare consisted of the recommended "inspect everything" and tire rotation. No parts, and no problems found. The quality, promptness, and courtesy of the service and personnel were all very good. The pricing however was outrageous. I was shocked to hear an estimate of $522, but with the hassle of going anywhere with current shelter-in-place, social unrest, and all, I agreed to proceed. While the service was being done, I checked with other Mirai owners and found that other dealers charged much less, as low as $80 in Tustin (Southern California) and under $300 in San Francisco. There are only a few Toyota dealers capable of servicing a Mirai and this is an abuse of that monopoly. I filed a complaint with Toyota. More
