She pulled me aside in the showroom and said, “now I understand why you drove almost 40 miles, passing two other Volvo dealers along the way to come here!” Bob is incredibly knowledgeable and speaks openly with integrity and honesty. He was completely accessible throughout the process. All these years of searching and frustration to find an honest, “old school “ dealership ended here at SMYTHE VOLVO! Bob and Smythe Volvo in my opinion are the benchmark for all others to be judged! More

Most people find car shopping very stressful as they know that not all dealers or salesmen are honest, and we, like everyone else, thought the same way. We had read reviews about different dealerships and we had even gone to one in Manasquan, which is very far from where we live. At last, we decided to check out Smythe and ask for Bob Cerza in particular as his name was mentioned in positive reviews. Overall, we were pleased with the experience. Everyone at the dealership was genuinely friendly and polite. Bob made us feel very comfortable. He took his time showing us different opinions and taking us on a test drive. Although we considered S90 at first, we absolutely fell in love with S60, and Bob was great at making our financing deal go smoothly. We felt he was honest with us, and we were honest with him - no games, very straightforward communication. We made our deal on Friday and picked up the car the following Monday. Although the car had been sold, Bob took the time to explain the features of the car to us. He truly is very professional and pleasant to work with. When we’re ready to part with our second car, we’ll most likely get another Volvo and it’ll be at Smythe. Thank you Bob. More

The BEST car-buying experience EVER From the minute I walked in the showroom through to delivery, the staff were warm, helpful, and professional. I have purchased many cars in the past, From the minute I walked in the showroom through to delivery, the staff were warm, helpful, and professional. I have purchased many cars in the past, and this was, by far, the best experience. Volvos are great cars and sell themselves, so getting a salesperson to care about your experience is hard. I can’t say enough about Ashley’s commitment and patience while I went through the process. Even other salespeople, like Kyle, helped me when I popped in to ask a question. Their excitement and love of Volvo made me not bother to shop around. Their prices are competitive, too. I never felt pressured to make the purchase. Shaun, provided me with great advice on services, also without pressuring me to buy everything. I could go on and on, but the best part was when the day to take delivery finally came, Ashley painted a “Congrats” sign on canvas in my favorite color. I was so touched. Thank you so much. Extremely professional and friendly staff I have owned or leased six Volvos which were acquired from four different dealers. Although I have been pleased with each of the dealerships, I was v I have owned or leased six Volvos which were acquired from four different dealers. Although I have been pleased with each of the dealerships, I was very impressed with Smyth Volvo, especially Eric Kulawcyzk. We drove almost 50 miles to view Smythe's used car lot only to find that the dealership was closed and all used vehicles are housed within the dealership. I stopped Eric while he was closing the dealership to ask about certified S90s. He asked which car was of interest and agreed to drive the car to my house the next day. Within 24 hours we worked out a purchase price conditional on some minor cleaning/repairs which Eric addressed. When I drove the car home, I noticed a missing piece in the seat belt assembly. I received a quick response from Eric that he would fix the problem. He answered in 24 hours that the part was ordered and he would stop at my house to add the part. I was also impressed that he asked about other discounts available to me and informed me of a Volvo program for early lease termination if a lessor exceeds their mileage allowance. I strongly recommend buying or leasing a car from Smyth and Eric. More
