Anything to get a deal done, at the cost of your credit. As a returning customer i am very disappointed at the treatment i received at Shaw GMC. Finance managers, specifically Billy Tran will go to great len As a returning customer i am very disappointed at the treatment i received at Shaw GMC. Finance managers, specifically Billy Tran will go to great lengths at this location with no regard and at the cost of your credit score to get a deal done or not in this case. After being approved and signing a lease with them for a new vehicle for myself (1 authorized credit check) All that was accomplished were several (5) unauthorized hard inquiries for my credit report over the course of two weeks as a co signer on a proposed ever changing deal with no communication with me that that was what they were doing in the background. Be diligent and ensure that the people responsible for obtaining your credit report do so in a professional manner with the least impact to your credit rating, Number of inquiries in previous 12 months impacts your score negatively and the effects are long lasting remaining visible on your credit bureau for 3 years. poor buying experience I was away last week for work and from talking with Becky a few things are coming to light which I was not aware of previously. I have to say the process surrounding getting the vehicle was extremely disappointing. The following outlines how this process transpired: 1.Poor communication from the finance office: •Becky emailed on Tuesday requesting information for insurance purposes and received not response; •Becky emailed again on Wednesday with again no response; •Becky called the finance office Thursday morning and left a voicemail AGAIN with no reply. •Becky had to call you to walk over to the finance office and have someone respond to her inquires. TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE. 2.We had booked 2PM for a time when the vehicle would be picked up. This process took almost 2 hours. I have never in all my years of buying vehicles had this process take anywhere near this time frame. Our documents (registration) were not at the office. Joanna said she would send someone to go get it. Why would she have to do this as we had an appointment and Shaw knew we were coming. Further, the ‘XS care’ was explained to us at the time of signing documents. This whole process was extremely disorganized. 3.THE VEHICLE WAS NOT READY. We did not get what we paid for or agreed to (3M not done). Where was the quality control? How was this allowed to be presented to a first time premium customer with out anyone checking to ensure everything was actually done! Now I have to inconvenience myself from my work day in order to get something that should have never happened. Given all these issues I was a little offended that you asked us to give Shaw a 10/10 on any survey we receive. My experience was a 4/10 at best. I feel my time was not respected nor were we valued as customers, especially since my vehicle was not even ready for pick up. Furthermore, based on this experience there is no way that we would refer anyone to you. Based on what we’ve experienced, I have very little to no confidence in Shaw. Follow up: I go to the dealership to get the 3M on and more run around. I ended up leaving without the 3M or any the problem resolved. More

Sold me options Failed to put the undercoating and then failed to actually install. After them challenging me that I was wrong they finally owned up to issue only to Failed to put the undercoating and then failed to actually install. After them challenging me that I was wrong they finally owned up to issue only to end up with more issues which took me months to resolve. Still not resolved and after demanding my money back to be done with this and then agreeing they renagged on the deal only after my follow up on the cheque a month later. No I'm being told to wait again for a 'cheque in the mail'. Don't go here. It's a train wreck, staff that stops caring the second you sign the papers and frankly the dealership itself is a dump anyways. More

Extraordinary service from salesman, parts department, ey . We started working with Sean Spriggs, and Jodi-for internet sales, approximately two months prior to an in-face meeting and sale consummation. Our fi We started working with Sean Spriggs, and Jodi-for internet sales, approximately two months prior to an in-face meeting and sale consummation. Our first appointment to meet and discuss our purchase options went awry, and to top it off--our batteries went dead at another location in Calgary. Out of desperation, we called Sean to request assistance in purchasing a replacement -- he not only assisted us by working with his parts department, but made numerous calls back and forth as an intermediary during his busy day, and made sure we received the batteries, which were delivered to us in the parking lot of a shopping mall. The delivery driver refused a cash tip! Sean wasn't sure he'd ever hear from us gain and still hadn't met us. A few weeks later, we again contacted Sean, made an appointment to meet with him and requested a few used vehicles be retrieved from other lots for our review. He obtained all the vehicles we wished to review, but we ended up throwing a curve ball and went for a new vehicle. He never flinched, but saw to our needs. This salesman is extraordinary! He is detailed oriented, know his product, is honest, fair, works hard for his customer, and performed beyond all expectations. We highly recommend Shaw GMC and especially Sean Spriggs as your sales representative. More

I am so happy! Shaw was the third dealership I got in contact with, and I could have saved myself a lot of time if I had just called them first. Sean Spriggs was my salesman, and I think he was amazing. Sean always returned my calls promptly and kept me informed from start to finish. He managed to get me a trade-in offer almost $4,000 more than the other dealerships and I got an amazing truck that I love. there is no doubt in my mind that next time when I'm looking to trade up, I'm calling Sean, he has made a customer for life out of me.
