I was disappointed in yesterday's experience. I am an

When I called to make the inspection appointment, I was told Volvo would put my plates on. As I checked in yesterday, I was told that it would cost $39 for 1 front plastic bracket (I already have one on the back and amazon sells them as a pair for $15). That's fine - I expected to pay for the brackets but you replaced both brackets so apparently charged me for two?
I was then told it was $80, after the fact, to screw them on. When I questioned the charges (the manhattan Volvo offered to do this as a courtesy but I couldn't get an appointment until late March) I was met with frustration and a threat to stop the inspection of my car. Then I was told, if I don't pay the money, you wouldn't pass my car so that felt like a threat as well.
The manager was helpful and reduced the installation price so I did appreciate it but still left with a bad feeling.
All in all, I won't be coming back. As a person who works in customer service, my advice to you is not nickel and dime customers. It's never worth it in the long run and if you take care of them, they end up coming back and spending more over time.

I reached out to one of the managers asking him to rectify this and arrange to have the car properly cleaned, i have not heard back.

I'm sorry to hear that you were unhappy with the service you received. I've spoken with our service manager, and he confirmed that yes, some of the disinfectant spray used to sanitize your vehicle remained on a seat after the vehicle was delivered back to you. Apparently, a valet and the service manager wiped the entire interior of the vehicle thereafter before your departure. The service manager also tells me that he has since been in contact and made arrangements to pick up the vehicle and detail the interior. Sorry for the inconvenience, and I hope you are now happy with the vehicle.

Yes, for each vehicle we provide via text and/or email a video inspection of your vehicle on the lift that allows you to see the condition of the underside of your vehicle in addition to tire and brake wear. In many cases, we also use it to show the detail of a repair. Regarding the low volume, we've invested in lapel microphones that greatly improve the sound versus that with the tablet microphone alone. It sounds like in this case the microphone was not connected correctly. I'll forward your message to each of the technicians to emphasize how important it is for them to ensure that the sound quality is good before sending the video. Thanks for the feedback!
