I leased a car from Ken Garff Honda Riverdale for three years and also bought the AdvantageCare package (3 oil changed, 3 tire rotations) that I asked to be considered outside of the car purchase. After br years and also bought the AdvantageCare package (3 oil changed, 3 tire rotations) that I asked to be considered outside of the car purchase. After bringing the car home and going through the documents, I realized that through Honda Service Pass, the first two years of oil changes and tire rotations are covered for free, essentially deeming this AdvantageCare package pointless and worthless until after the two years. After reaching out and confirming all of this, I tried to see if I could get a refund on the package (a service that I purchased but have not used and will not use for at least two years). At that point I was put on the back burner for several days since they already sold me a car and were through with me. At first I was told it was non-refundable due to some vague reason. After some further questioning, I was told it was part of the vehicle lease contract (which I specifically asked to be excluded from the beginning) and then was told that they specifically remember explaining to me the Honda Service Pass during the purchase (which I do not recall. Funny how the AdvantageCare was included in the vehicle purchase when I asked not to but surprisingly they remember having this conversation with me from a week plus that I purchased the car). In conclusion, the dealership did not refund the package, which I still don’t truly understand why. It’s a service that I paid for a week ago and haven’t used and can’t get a refund….weird. In essence, I paid to have a package that I will not use for at least two years because of the Honda Service Pass that wasn’t explained to me during the purchase because then why would I get the AdvantageCare package? More

I have to admit that most of my car shopping has been through ordering vehicles from the factory, negotiating the price and extras via text and email, and coming in just to see the vehicle, test drive an through ordering vehicles from the factory, negotiating the price and extras via text and email, and coming in just to see the vehicle, test drive and sign. I loathe having to sit around dealerships for hours working on purchasing a vehicle and rarely buy from the lot. That being said, It was really a pleasure working with Mitch. He wasn't trying to push me into purchasing the Ridgeline. He went over all of the features I requested, went with my wife and I for a test drive to answer questions and after, asked if we were interested in purchasing. Mitch went over the options such as the extended warranty and the pricing. All pretty much seamless, although the paperwork took longer than I expected. I would certainly work with him again and would recommend him to my friends and family looking to purchasing a vehicle from Honda. And I also appreciate the video he sent of the Ridgeline prior to me coming in to view it in person. I want to give kudos to Zach as well as he was the one I initially worked with to purchase the Honda. I asked for rebates comparable to other dealers along the the interest rate, and he kept his word. and also to Marna. Although we didn't work with her on this purchase, we did come in a couple of weeks ago to look at a used Nissan Frontier. she knew we wasn't interested and didn't try to hype up the vehicle in order to get us to buy it. I enjoy working with people who just provide you the info you need and let you make decisions for yourself. More
