Dear Jrhil, I'm responding to your Dealer Rater review from July 5 at 11:45PM. I've read your review and the content is exactly why we decided not to sell you the car. Your continual criticism and condescending tone are not things we engage in. You mentioned the owner was immature and unprofessional and he had a drug or gambling problem, which is certainly not the true. Our offer to send the truck to Rhode Island July 3, the day before the Fourth of July holiday, and tie up two employees in the process, so you could register it in Rhode Island by the deadline you wanted, is just one example of the way in which we went above and beyond to serve your needs. We are sure the fact you came almost 1.5 hours away from your home in Rhode Island to purchase our vehicle had everything to do with the value you felt you were getting from our product, something you were not finding local to you. Working diligently for over twenty-six years with over 15,000 successful transactions, we are grateful for the wonderful people who support our business and continue to do so. We never want to walk away from a transaction or customer, but found it necessary. Your character assassinations to our staff and references to our town, the type of vehicles we sell and the building we operate in, are no reflection on us, just you.
