On Monday May 2, 2022 at 4:16pm, I received a call from Andrew Luis from a hidden phone number. His first question after verifying that he was speaking to me was, "did the dealership already contact you?" Andrew Luis from a hidden phone number. His first question after verifying that he was speaking to me was, "did the dealership already contact you?" His voice appeared to be in a panic, so I knew he was up to something. I gave him a generic response. Andrew immediately proceeded to threaten me during the call, and stated that if I did not remove my review, he would come after me. Andrews (Drew) behavior during the call was right on brand with what I experienced as I dealt with Andrew and the dealership. Andrew is immoral and should be punished for his deplorable behavior. I was informed that he quit or was canned. If you see his name at another dealership, run! He will lie and falsify details on your purchase contract, and lie about everything. More

I purchased my 2020 Toyota Avalon Hybrid remotely thru email and phone calls with Max Chiandet and Micah Chun. They were very professional dealing with me prior to me driving from Colorado to Phoenix to email and phone calls with Max Chiandet and Micah Chun. They were very professional dealing with me prior to me driving from Colorado to Phoenix to pick up the vehicle. I would highly recommend working with them and the Courtesy Volvo dealership. The pick up/delivery was seamless and quick with online DocuSign with the Finance department. More

To Date I have had several different experiences with Courtesy Volvo, with some things yet to be decided. On a whole my sales person Brenna did a good job and I appreciated her straight forward approach Courtesy Volvo, with some things yet to be decided. On a whole my sales person Brenna did a good job and I appreciated her straight forward approach. I made an appointment to come back to get some questions answered about the cars operation which wasn't exactly handled well and not much got accomplished because I had the wrong key and the person I dealt with wasn't able to answer some of my questions....... There is a monetary discrepancy which hasn't yet been finalized, but is being worked on, and should be refunded soon I am told. The Very Best Help I have received so far is from MAX who took the time to review some of the technical operations which were never fully explained to me and showed me how to operate my radio via my phone, awesome!! I am taking my new car on my first road trip and he helped me understand all the importance features I will be using. I would like to know that management reads these reviews and acknowledges Max's great knowledge and the "Courteous" service he provides. More

Andrew is a liar, and has deplorable character! I recently purchase a car from Courtesy Volvo of Scottsdale. I DO NOT recommend this dealership or Andrew Luis. He is deceitful! From beginning to I recently purchase a car from Courtesy Volvo of Scottsdale. I DO NOT recommend this dealership or Andrew Luis. He is deceitful! From beginning to end, I was lied to by Tim Raspiller, Sales Manager, 480-291-5117, traspiller@courtesyautomotivegroup.com, Vehicle Sales Maxwell Chiandet, 480-527-2922, Mchiandet@courtesyautomotivegroup.com, & Andrew "Drew" Luis Finance Manager, dluis@courtesyautomotivegroup.com 480-291-5100. Long story short, they lied about everything! They overcharged me by over $4,000.00. They didn’t utilize the pre-approval provided by my bank. They deceptively documented all of the contracts with my banks name as the lien holder, even though they secretly went with another bank and increased by APR over 3%. When I asked about the APR I was told that higher APRS mistakes happen and that I could call my bank to modify. Drew deliberately failed to tell me then that they used another bank. When I spoke with Drew a week later he finally revealed that they changed the bank. His excuse was that the deal wasn’t complete, even though I signed all of the contracts and he confirmed that the lien holder was indeed my bank. I requested details showing my pre-approval was “declined”, the approval letter from the bank they chose for me without my knowledge, documentation of the final sale, & other documents. It’s been 2 weeks and Drew has failed to provide those documents. Its been a month and I still have no documentation or contact information for the lien holder. Drew lied about not having the terms & conditions to the warranty that was offered. He refused to cancel the contract upon my request when there were no terms & conditions provided. I called the warranty company, they told me that Drew/Courtesy has the terms & conditions on site and that they should’ve been provided to me. Drew told me that Courtesy only offers the Level 4 warranty, which was a lie. I have record of Drew stating that Courtesy offers levels 1-4 but he knowingly only offered me the most expensive warranty. The warranty company also confirmed that levels 1-3 were an option for me. I also have record of Drew lying about the cancellation details of the warranty. AVOID DREW AND THIS DEALERSHIP AT ALL COST. More

On multiple occasions this place has absolutely failed us. Most recently, they posted a vehicle for sale. I submitted an inquiry to which I received at least three different responses to. I was invited in us. Most recently, they posted a vehicle for sale. I submitted an inquiry to which I received at least three different responses to. I was invited in that evening for a text drive. I replied I would be in first thing the next morning. Upon arrival, I asked for who I had emailed with to which everyone was clueless as to who this person was. I showed them the emails, and was told “oh that’s one of our online people blah blah blah.” At that point a man offered to help me. After 20 or so minutes trying to locate the vehicle, I pointed it out to him. It was sitting in the front spot right outside the door. He assured me that I was wrong and that vehicle was a customer’s. After another few minutes he return to inform me “that in fact that was the vehicle, and it was still where the customer had left it after turning it over to Volvo.” We looked through it and he gave me the whole speech about going through inspections and such. I offered to pay cash to show my seriousness of purchasing the vehicle. He said they had to run it through the checks to ensure it met their standards which I understood and appreciated. He confirmed my contact information and assured me that he would call. No call. No nothing. Fast forward a few weeks. After having another wild experience at a different dealership I opted to return here to speak with a manager to understand why it was so difficult to buy/lease a car when they seem to have plenty on the lot. Upon arrival I asked to speak with a manager, the first representative asked to know why. I briefly explained my situation, including the part about the used white sedan, which she retorted “oh! I bought that car! Smiling ear to ear!” Talk about insult to injury. It blows my mind that a company would allow someone with such a lack of professionalism to be the first person customers come in contact with. To wrap this up, I finally was able to sit with a manager…Tim Raspiller. I slowly walked him through all my issues. Provided him the emails to show all the facts. I then showed him the deal the other dealership offered me and then backed out of. He “didn’t want to say anything bad about them, but then suggested they made a deal they couldn’t back up.” I was earnest and willing to go, but asked if it was reasonable and if he could get anywhere close to what I was looking for. He worked his magic, pulled some strings, and low and behold he was going to save the day by pulling a loaner and leasing it to me at the agreed price. He did warn me the vehicle would not be available that day but he would rush to get it to me. Everything seemed great. The next day they called me to tell me the vehicle is ready. I show up and instead of the XC60, which was the only car we ever talked about, he has a S60 waiting for me and I would need to schedule an appointment to bring it in to get the package I was promised. Are you kidding me?!?! How hard is it to give a company $20K? Excuses were made, fingers were pointed, but at the end of the day poor service starts at the top. Tim failed to listen and it shows why this place has gone so far downhill. Side note: if you want good chit chat, go meet with their finance guy. Loves to talk. He will tell you about all the damage he has caused to his cars and where brothers live. If you want accurate numbers, avoid this guy. He had to reprint the financials because numbers were wrong and of course higher than what was written and agreed too. What’s funny to me is looking as this, when I asked for THE manager…I should have been taken to Jason. More

Honestly one of the best dealership experiences that I have had in recent years. They were accommodating and tried their absolute hardest to make a deal when I initially had hesitations due to my own igno have had in recent years. They were accommodating and tried their absolute hardest to make a deal when I initially had hesitations due to my own ignorance on how the federal tax credit for the T8 worked. After negotiating a bit more, they were able to completely pay off my trade and were willing to get rid of a handful of dealer add ons that were a bit too marked up for my liking. In the end we all agreed on an agreeable deal where both sides compromised to reach a beneficial ending. They are far from pushy and were open to very constructive negotiation. Max and Tim were an absolute blast to work with and they treated me with respect from the moment I walked through the door. Bryan in finance was very thorough and did not push anything extra into the deal but did present a handful of options that other buyers may find agreeable. Overall this was an A+ team that completely made up for a negative experience I had earlier in the year. Fantastic group of people! Look forward to many years of service at this dealership in my new S60 T8 More
