So Glad I Responded to an Invitation for an Upgrade In response to letter from Newton Nissan, I called about coming in to check out my options. Because of financial difficulties in the past, I was alrea In response to letter from Newton Nissan, I called about coming in to check out my options. Because of financial difficulties in the past, I was already very grateful for the 2012 Versa that I was able to purchase at Newton Nissan and had driven for about 17 months. However if I could do something to improve the financing, specifically either refinance or trade and have a lower payment at a better interest rate, I wanted to know. I met with Matthew McSwain. He went to work with Ben Farmer and rather than feeling relentlessly pressured as I had been in previous (before Newton Nissan) car negotiations, I felt that I mattered and they were working with me. With more than a little effort, they made an offer that truly helped me and I ended up with not only a better car, a 2015 Sentra, my interest rate was much, much lower and my monthly payments a little lower as well. Matthew was a delight to work with. He was very kind and patient with me, particularly in making sure I understood the features of my new car. I drove away excited and blessed to have a very reliable vehicle at a fair price. More
