I was seeking a low priced lease for a college age kid using the internet and communicating with three VW dealers. Matt was by far the most responsive to what I was seeking and rather than just trying to using the internet and communicating with three VW dealers. Matt was by far the most responsive to what I was seeking and rather than just trying to push me to come in, provided me the specific info I sought and had papers ready for me to sign when I came in. I have had the pleasure of working with the folks at this dealership for the past two years. Each experience has been a positive one, Matt, Kent, and Mo are each extremely personable, customer service orient dealership for the past two years. We weren't sure what car we were looking for when we pulled on the lot but Matt was so knowledgable and patient as I looked at, drove, and asked questions about the various models. He was very intuitive pulled on the lot but Matt was so knowledgable and patient as I looked at, drove, and asked questions about the various models. He was very intuitive, listening to what I liked about each vehicle and showing me others that met my criteria until we found the perfect car. I liked the whole process, being able to see the finance guys and business offices. The dealership is a very open and has a friendly atmosphere. Matt did a great job helping us through the whole process, then "after the sell" taking the time to teach me about some of the features in my car and even setting up my phone. Overall it was a great experience! More

A sterling, no hassle buying experience! Matt, Kent and Mo exhibited sincere concern and willingness to do whatever was necessary to render me the satisfied customer I am today. Since 2001, I had dealt primarily with the service team for scheduled maintenance on my former 2001 VW Beetle purchased elsewhere. When traded recently, my 2001 Beetle had close to 200K miles on it and was still performing well which is not only a tribute to the brand, but the service team as well. I would like to point out that since Mark Cohen became the GM, I noticed a significant change and improvement upon how the customer is treated when visiting his dealership. Matt Hettel exhibited superb product knowledge in acquainting me with the features and operation of my 2013 VW R-Line Beetle. He willingly programmed the car radio and navigation system thereby eliminating the step by step procedures I would have had to follow using the owner's manual. In a nutshell, the car was completely prepped and ready in all aspects for ME the new owner. It doesn't get any better than this! More

Matt helped me out over the course of a few weeks. I first sent in a referral online and Matt was prompt to email me and call me back. I went into the dealership around the time he was supposed to be getting off and ended up buying that car that day. He got me a really good rate on the car at the price I was looking to spend and I was even able to get the APR tune on my 2009 VW CC when I purchased the car. Overall my experience with the dealership has been great. When I got the tune on my car they even drove me to my job and picked me up so I didn't have to worry about driving back to the dealership. I liked working with Matt enough that whenever I know someone who is interested in getting a vehicle I send them to him and I'm in the process of getting a friend into a CC like myself. After three months I couldn't be happier with VW of South Charlotte and Matt! More

Exceptional experience! Matt Hettel was great and helped me get an awesome deal together while I was out of town. I stopped by upon my return and everything was prepared and ready to execute. Matt contacted me immediately after I had submitted a request for a quote online for the Autobahn GTI. The next day I visited the dealership and Matt did everything he could to find the Autobahn that I request for a quote online for the Autobahn GTI. The next day I visited the dealership and Matt did everything he could to find the Autobahn that I wanted and I was able to pick up the car the very next day. Matt will get you the car you want, at the price you can afford. I looked at other dealerships, but their inventory was not as large and versatile as South Charlotte. I had my previous GTI serviced here and the quality of work and service was awesome! I highly recommend South Charlotte for your Volkswagen needs. I will do business here again. More
