We made it clear from the very beginning we didn’t want extra warranties or any other random fees they would try to add. They have a REQUIRED $4k service warranty (which doesn’t even cover standard mainten extra warranties or any other random fees they would try to add. They have a REQUIRED $4k service warranty (which doesn’t even cover standard maintenance like oil changes) that we did NOT want, and they “compromised” by lowering the overall price of our vehicle by less than $4k, so we were still paying more than we wanted for something we will never use. After we signed, come to find out they added a random warranty ANYWAYS so they could completely MAX OUT our finance offer. We called to get it canceled and they insisted we had to drive the hour+ back to the dealership and sign a refund request for the warranty. We asked to have it emailed to us and we would send it back and they told us “well I have a printed copy of it, though.” Not that we COULDN’T do via email, that he didn’t want to send it to us via email because he had a printed one. Not sure why that was such a big issue but we drove all the way over there and signed it on January 5th, and it was supposedly filed on January 8th. When we asked why it was added we were told “well you didn’t explicitly say you didn’t want a warranty,” which is xx because it’s the very first thing we said to them when we got there and the service package almost made us leave. Every time we called for an update they told us we hadn’t waited long enough and to call back next week, and that was IF someone answered. We were frequently told that the “sales manager” would call us back and he ONLY DID ONCE after we got the location manager involved. It got to the point where the male receptionist who would pick up about half the time would get annoyed when we said our name and tell us to stop calling so much and he would get back to us when we had time. There were 2 occasions where it took us calling every day for a week before we actually spoke to the sales guy, just to again be told to keep waiting. After SIX WEEKS we called again only to be told they REINSTATED THE WARRANTY AT THE SIX WEEK MARK. I asked why they could reinstate it without our consent or signature but we were required to sign to get it canceled. He didn’t have an answer. He also conveniently couldn’t tell us WHO reinstated it, so there were no repercussions for the person who did this to us. We complained about having to drive up there AGAIN to sign to cancel it AGAIN, and what do you know? He said we didn’t have to do that! We didn’t even have to do it the first time either! So it was just them trying to deter us from actually getting it canceled by telling us the only way to do so was by driving an hour and a half back to their location to sign to cancel. They did the cancelation over the phone on February 16th, and here we are another month later, still not refunded the extra $3.5k they tacked onto our loan and they can’t tell us when it’ll be refunded. They also conveniently “can’t do anything” about the fact that THEIR ACTIONS left this on our loan and left us paying interest on an amount that isn’t supposed to even be on the loan! They didn’t have an answer when we pointed out that the reason we are even paying this much more in interest is because of them directly. So now we get to wait yet again to see if they will actually refund it this time, or if we will wait another 2 weeks to find out they reinstated it yet again. I will NEVER do business with this dealership again. We could not have been MORE CLEAR about NOT WANTING A WARRANTY and they make you jump through hoops for months on end to get it resolved. I’ll update if it ever actually gets resolved or if they lie yet again. I’m not even sure what they get out of refusing to help people fix THEIR OWN mistakes, but they certainly lost future business. He went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable throughout the buying process, He made sure I understood all the features the vehicle had to offer, also that the vehicle I purchased would meet my needs as well as my 97 pound golden doodle. By the end I felt confident about my purchase, and I walked away with a new baby and a comfortable truck note, Landon was very affable, and the rest of the staff was very welcoming!!
