Scam artists My wife and I inherited a 2017 Hyundai Ioniq hybrid from a relative in California. After driving it back to Long Island, the car had less than 4900 m My wife and I inherited a 2017 Hyundai Ioniq hybrid from a relative in California. After driving it back to Long Island, the car had less than 4900 miles on it. It looked and smelled as if it had just been driven out of the showroom. We listed it for sale on cars.com for $19,850. Soon after, we received a call from Sean who said M&A would pay about $19,000 for the car, as long as our description was accurate. I explained to Sean that we lived about 40 miles away and that because we had to drive two vehicles to their dealership to sell them the Hyundai, to please not play games with us. He assured us that he was being legitimate. When we arrived, Sean inspected the vehicle and of course, could not find anything wrong with it. He then said he had to talk to his manager. That's when we met Keya. Keya proceeded to tell us that he couldn't do $19,000, but he could do $17,000. Since they couldn't find anything wrong with the car, Keya's reason for the low-ball offer was that a customer could buy a brand new car for just a few thousand dollars more, so why would they pay $19,000 for ours. If that's true, then why did they offer $19,000 over the phone. Needless to say, my wife and I stormed out. When we got out to our cars, another gentleman came out and asked us to wait while he made a phone call. After several minutes, he offered us his final offer of $18,000. We refused and left the premises. It should be noted that M&A Motors made the original offer of $19,000, not us. Why would we settle for less than their original offer when there was absolutely nothing wrong with the car and they knew it. It was a scam offer by Sean to get us in the door. We wasted half a day and drove two vehicles eighty miles round-trip just to deal with these scam artists. Several days later, we sold the car to Carvana for $19,274, which was the exact amount quoted to us by them on the internet. The next time I sell a car, it will also be to Carvana, not the scam artists at M&A Motors. More

M&A Motors provides a peace of mind when purchasing a vehicle by guaranteeing to fix any problem that may occur after you bought your car, if any problem occurs at all. I traded in my ‘17 Subaru Wrx and one of the salesmen, Keya, made the process very quick and very easy. He stayed in touch with me days prior to my purchase and gave me all answers I wanted over the phone before I even had to step foot in the dealership. Would recommend to anyone that needs a great car and a trusted used car dealership. 10/10!!! More
