The worst dealership in New York. I have owned Toyotas since 1982. I dealt with "Lee"s" Toyota since 1995. Now that they are called "Hillside" Toyota, their service has gone DOWN the H I have owned Toyotas since 1982. I dealt with "Lee"s" Toyota since 1995. Now that they are called "Hillside" Toyota, their service has gone DOWN the Hillside! Leased my last 2 Rav4s with Lee's and then Hillside. The last lease in 2016 was a nightmare. What sort of dealership wants you to drive a new car off the lot WITHOUT the temporary registration because they accidentally locked it in a draw and expects you to come back to pick it up the next day? They asked if I had private parking and if so it would be okay, “just don’t park it on the street.” I didn't accept that so I had to wait for them to go back to the warehouse and get my old car back, stick the old registration back in the window and have me return in 2 days to pick up the new car. I started the process of picking up the new car at 1:30 in the afternoon on the so-called day of delivery and left the dealership that evening at 8:55pm (5 minutes before closing) with my same old car. Had to return in 2 days to pick up the new car because they had not put the mudguards or side door moldings on the car that I was paying extra for at the time of delivery. Based on this experience I knew that at the end of my lease in 2019 I would not do business with this dealership. Thus, I returned the 2016 Rav4 in May of 2019, a month early. Lease agreement done. Or so I thought! I get a call in July advising me that my lease was “expiring” and they wanted to know what I planned to do with the car. Now I’m nervous that I gave my car to a dealer (whose name I shall withhold in this review but will be passed on to the General Manager) who did not process my return and maybe stole the car! They “double checked” called and assured me that all the paperwork was taken care of and my lease had been closed out. Guess what? That didn’t seem to be the case because I received another call 2 weeks later asking when I was planning to turn in the car. Here we go again, “I turned in the car last month! Please update your records.” Tonight, I received a call: “We’re calling to remind you that the lease on your 2016 RAV4 is “EXPIRING”. Expiring? It expired June 28, 2019 and this is October 10, 2019. I gave the car back to you in May!!! What is going on in your dealership? Does anybody know what they are doing. You interrupted my evening (7:05pm) to ask about a car I gave you 5 months earlier. I asked to speak to a manager. I was told that Ramon would call me back after he came from the “bathroom”. That was very unprofessional! TMI! All your receptionist had to say was that he stepped away from his desk. I don’t need to know that he went to peeeeeeeee. He never called me back. I guess the receptionist told him how “pissed” I was. I guess his thinking is “why call her back, she is no longer a customer”. Evidently, I seem to be a customer for “LIFE” whether I own a Toyota or not because you sure keep calling me. YOU CAN’T MAKE THIS STUFF UP! I’m taking this to the top. Is this descriptive enough? Got the Car within a Day! Got the car within a day! Made sure it was in stock and knew exactly which car I wanted. They're very attentive to detail, and actually very nice. Got the car within a day! I had great experience with a Toyota Sienna minivan that we still have after 14 years. But we needed something updated, and went with the souped-up Toyota Sienna Limited Premium. It's a great car with everything! As with any dealership, research, research, research the car, pricing and options BEFORE you go to the dealer. They know whether you're informed or if you're not, so they'll make you spend your hard-earned money, if you're not. But, if you know what you want to buy, know what options you want, know what price you want to pay, they WILL make it happen for you. Ask their phone/internet people to email you a price that you're comfortable buying at before you go in. They will honor it, but you need to make sure, and not change things. Hillside Toyota was just purchased by Titan Motors Group, so they'll give you lots of complimentary items, such as free NYS inspections for the life of the vehicle, monthly car washes for six months, oil changes for 3 months, and free lost key for a year. I'm going to try their service department after a few years of being away. More

Check Fraud at Hillside Toyota On February 27, 2019, I provided Hillside Toyota, located at 139-65 Queens Blvd, Jamaica, NY 11435 with a check for $6,000 as a deposit for a lease. I On February 27, 2019, I provided Hillside Toyota, located at 139-65 Queens Blvd, Jamaica, NY 11435 with a check for $6,000 as a deposit for a lease. I then signed the lease documents on March 1st, and walked away with the car. However, when I checked my bank account the following day, I saw that Hillside Toyota had cashed the $6,000 check that I had given them, not once, but two times!!! Yes, two times!!! So, instead of $6,000 (which was the agreed amount on the signed lease contract), they ended up withdrawing $12,000 from my account. They cashed the one check that I gave them, the first time on 02/28, and then they cashed it again on 3/1. As soon as I saw this, I called the dealership, and after this, in spite of my calls to the seller (Victor), the manager (Ramon), and the finance guys (Tak & Sam), nobody has called me back, even after I'd reported this to the corporate office. I then called my bank, who told me that this was a fraudulent transaction, and that I had to file a police report. I am now going to file the police report, and am filing this claim to get these people to a) finally refund the money they illegally obtained from me and b) stop doing this scam to others who might also be affected by this. Please feel free to let me know if you have any questions. If needed, I can provide copies of the checks that were cashed (both with same number, same amount, and details), as well as the lease agreement, showing that I had only agreed to $6K and not $12K. As we near the 2nd week of no-call/response from Hillside Toyota, I called the corporate office, who then called the manager on duty (Feng), and advised him to give call me back immediately. And still, he ignored that advice and never called me back. At this point, even the corporate office supports the drastic actions I will be forced to make to get my money back, as they apologized and indicated that this dealership's behavior was not indicative of Toyota's standards.
