Our only regret is that Mazda will no longer be offering the Mazda5 for sale in the US. Too bad, its a great car and so much fun to drive! More

We just truly dislike the car buying process; as such we tend to not only buy from set price manufacturers but we tend to hold onto our cars for a really long time. We needed to buy a car for our son who is heading off to medical school and we wanted to ensure he had a highly rated vehicle that was good on gas mileage, safe, good value, excellent consumer ratings etc. When it was time to negotiate price, we were in fact dealing with two dealerships. I was working with one and my husband the other. While the pricing turned out to be very close at each, we went with Wantagh because the vibe there was NOT one of pressure, frustration, bullying. There was some humor and playfulness involved and a very 'gentile' process rather than the type of experience where you walk out of the dealership drained and beaten up. Thank you to David for being so patient and to Kenny for his humor and ability to know when to not keep selling. More

What An Amazing Experience I am in awe that my experience was such a nice and refreshing one. When it came to buying cars in the past I was always very combative and a real pain I am in awe that my experience was such a nice and refreshing one. When it came to buying cars in the past I was always very combative and a real pain in the neck only due to my past experiences with the sales staff at other dealers. Well this past week August 26th through 28th I was treated like a human and I leased a brand new 2014 CX-9 well within the budget I quoted to them. The SUV is amazing and in all reality the deal went so well because of the experience with the sales staff. I say this because you know when you go to buy any big ticket item (TV's, Appliances, Cars etc...) the sales people are usually not the most welcoming and informative. The main people I dealt with was Vin, Victor & Phil and I can't STRESS enough how WELL they treated me and my family. I live in the area and I didn't want to travel far to purchase a vehicle and the gentlemen at Wantagh Mazda made it very easy for me to be a customer for many years to come. Early in the buying process we had a difference of opinion with the leasing of the CX-9 but these MEN sat down with me and worked very hard to make me feel very comfortable and made me feel as if I was the only customer around. I was in the dealership to look at the car on the 26th for an hour, on both the 26th and 27th we negotiated back and forth on certain items and on the 28th I picked up the SUV. I have NEVER EVER had an easy buying experience as I had with these fine gentleman in all my years of buying/leasing vehicles. If you are looking for a vehicle and you are not sure; YOU better go to Wantagh Mazda and see this staff. I promise you will not be sorry. You will walk out of the dealership happy and with a brand new vehicle. Thanks to all of you at Wantagh Mazda. More

I walked in and was greeted by I had to take the time out of my busy schedule to sit down and let people know about my experience with Wantagh Mazda. I walked in and was greeted by Joe Bonavita, one of the salesman. He couldn't have been more friendly and extremely likeable. I told him I was going to turn in my leased Mazda CX9 that I purchased at another dealership, and was looking to purchase another CX9. Well to give you the short version ... He was not letting me leave there without giving me a deal I just couldn't turn down. This was like buying a car from my brother !! He had my best interest in mind the whole time ! I walked out of there that night and said to my wife, Man that was just too easy. Im used to haggling, fighting, and leaving dealerships in disgust !! Well guys I just want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart for making this car buying experience, the best I have ever had !! And a special thanks to Kenny Davis, who got me the cheapest loan around ... and for all the Laughter !! oh and not to forget the manager, Joe Stella also a top notch guy to deal with.
