2014 CX-9 new lease My lease on a 2012 CX-9 had 6 months left. I had gone to Garden City Mazda with the hope of leasing a 2014 CX-9 for a lower price. This was my 3rd CX My lease on a 2012 CX-9 had 6 months left. I had gone to Garden City Mazda with the hope of leasing a 2014 CX-9 for a lower price. This was my 3rd CX-9 so I felt I deserved some catering too. Well that didn't pan out so I took a drive to Wantagh Mazda. Victor Liantonio greeted me with no high pressure tactics. We spoke for a while and worked out a FAIR deal for both of us. The 3 gentlemen I dealt with were accommodating and patient. Joe Bonavita, the salesman I primarily work with, even came in on his day off for 2 hours to make sure I would have the car when I needed it. He was clear about everything with me every step of the way and really stayed on top of things. He was very flexible and nice and made the process of buying a car quick and effortless. Excellent dealer, helpful staff & a low pressure environment When I had made the decision to purchase a car, one of several places I visited for a test drive was Wantagh Mazda. David was courteous and more than happy to let me take one of the cars for a spin. Though I knew that day I wasn't ready to make a purchase, and told David so, he didn't push for any more details or information. Fast forward 4 months later, after spending most of the summer researching the car I wanted to purchase, I finally made the trip back out to Wantagh Mazda to hopefully purchase a Mazda 3. Very happy to say after a friendly discussion we came to a great price. David helped to make the process very easy and straightforward, as did Kenny who worked to make the financial setup efficient and beneficial for all. A Very Special Thank You To Victor Liantonio After five long years of car searching and debating with myself whether or not I should purchase new or pre-owned, I discovered the Mazda CX-5 back wh After five long years of car searching and debating with myself whether or not I should purchase new or pre-owned, I discovered the Mazda CX-5 back when it was first released towards the end of 2012. I instantly feel in love with its styling but quickly came to the determination that it was out of my budget, so I test drove a Mazda 3 5-Door and absolutely loved it. I put my car search on hold due to a couple of job layoffs and once getting stable with a new career, I once again decided to look into the Mazda CX-5 and placed an order for a catalog. My father also liked the CX-5 and purchased it from Victor Liantonio and recommended that I meet Victor to discuss new and certified pre-owned vehicles that my be in my budget. Day one of my search I took a ride to Wantagh Mazda with my father and saw a Charcoal Mazda 3 5-Door literally in front of where I parked. The same color, make and model that I test drove a couple years earlier. I initially walked past it because I wanted to discuss a new Mazda CX-5 Sport, but after discussing my budget and past experience Victor convinced me to take the Mazda 3 5-Door for a test drive...I instantly knew it was the car for me. However, being that it was day one of my search, I knew I had to sleep on it and a week later contacted Victor about the car. After a quick conversation on the phone with Victor and a debate with my father; I decided it might be time to "pull the trigger" on the car. I discussed my budget with Victor and how I wanted a remote start and could not believe how easily the negotiations went. He told me that there was a possibility that I may need my father to co-sign and left it up to me if I wanted to take the process further. I did have my hesitations, so Victor asked if I wanted to take if for a test drive again, however I felt comfortable the way the negotiations went, very light haggling, so I decided to solidify my offer and get a determination on my credit and my financing rate. I was very comfortable with the deal Victor had worked out with me and the next step was to meet with Kenny to discuss my financing rate and any extras I wanted to add. Much to my surprise I got an exceptional financing rate and was given two quotes, one with the warranty and one without...the best thing about it was that it was the same rate whether I took the warranty or not. I was at the point where I was happy with the pricing and happy with the financing and could not believe how easily everything went, so I put a deposit on the car so I could discuss the specifics and extras with my father. Ultimately, I got the car I wanted, the extras I desired, and the extended warranty, at a monthly payment I was comfortable with. People may tell you to shop around, but this was the first car purchase I ever made and feel extremely satisfied how everything worked out and this was the first place I went to. I feel that Victor and Kenny went out of their way for me and feel completely comfortable with my purchase. I would recommend Wantagh Mazda to my family and friends and anyone in the market for a new vehicle. I am so happy with my purchase and enjoyed all aspects of my first car buying experience. More
