Julian Commodore. @ 3 months ago was my first experience with Julian at Tom Gill. 1. On the date of my arrival Julian was in the showroom awaiting for me and my wife. Upon my arrival he already had the car I wanted to see pulled into what I call the "Glass Display Room" ready for me to look over, with the keys ready to go. As I was getting in for my test drive, Julian stated, "Hey, I know you were talking about looking at another Camaro in the area. Why don't you go ahead and take this for the test drive and drive over there and check them out side by side. I thought that was very unorthodox, but it showed confidence about what cars they had as well as the pricing. I exclaimed to Julian that, that was a little weird....His reply was very simple. It's my job to get you into the car that YOU want, it is not my job to sell you a car. So basically he was saying to me... What can I do for you.... :) 2. They gave me a really great deal on my trade in as well.... $6000.00 No hassle, just simply gave me the value of the car. :) If I haven't lost you yet I implore you to read my last comment... 3. I was speaking to another employee about an accessory I wanted to by for my car and asked if I could get it today, before I left. The employee stated that unfortunately that all catalog items would have to be ordered but they could have it very quick. The employee then stated as Julian was walking up... "Ask Julian, I want to see what he says", basically he was challenging Julian. So I told Julian I want this accessory, I want to leave with it today after I sign the paperwork... their telling me that it has to be ordered what can you do for me? Julian's response was, I'll get it for you today if that's what you want. We'll go out there and remove it from another one on the lot and put it on order to replace that one, so you can leave with it today. Needless to say it's not an accessory the Camaro comes stock with, so he couldn't get it.... But the thing to take away from this story is.... THI IS EXACTLY WHAT I WANT TO HEAR AS A CUSTOMER... I don't want to wait when spending that kind of money. I truly believe that he was there to serve me, not sell to me... Overall Experience? It's in the title....Thank you Julian More

JC picked me up at the airport 2 hours before the dealership opened. Chan came in an hour before opening. The signing of papers and such was possibly the easiest I have ever experienced. I can not recommend this dealership and these gentlemen highly enough. More

Julian Commodore is Excellent: Another Great TG Experience We just purchased a new Equinox at Tom Gill Chevrolet. I can't give high enough praise to the Tom Gill team and our salesman, Julian Commodore (aka "J We just purchased a new Equinox at Tom Gill Chevrolet. I can't give high enough praise to the Tom Gill team and our salesman, Julian Commodore (aka "J.C"). Julian is genuinely nice person and my wife and I were happy to give him our repeat business after buying a Sonic from him two years ago. Tom Gill's salespeople don't work on commission. We knew that we wanted an Equinox and, for us, Julian acted more as a "buyer concierge" than a "salesman." He didn't try to "sell" us anything (Don't take that the wrong way, Mr. Gill!). He took our input, helped us find what we wanted, and arranged a great price. This process is a rare find. Without commission, the salesman chief motivation is sell as many cars as possible (as quickly as possible) to hit volume bonuses. They have no reason to waste time in order to wear down a few customers until the customers give in and pay for fat commissions. With Tom Gill's setup, the "salesman" acts more as a "buying agent" on the customers behalf. They work to get the sales manager to sign off your deal and sell the car. Until Tesla Motors undoes the car dealership syndicates across this country, I believe this is the best set up we consumers can get. Tom Gill Chevrolet has a state-of-the-art business model to addresses the ultra-informed modern buyer who researches their purchase ahead of time. Even their "sales floor" is forward thinking. There is no "let me go talk to my sales manager behind closed doors." The sales manager is standing the middle of the room with an iPad, ready to give answers, make deals, and get people on their way. I am the definition of a "tough customer." As we were checking numbers, I continuously pulled up a live spreadsheet on my smartphone to confirm my deal and it was all exactly what we had agreed upon. We just had to sign the papers . I reached out to ten local dealerships and ended up making a deal with Tom Gill Chevrolet again. I was not a repeat customer "by default" because Julian was a super nice guy last time. He was a super nice guy last time (and still is now!). I was a repeat customer because he was a super nice guy and he got Tom Gill Chevrolet to give me a great deal on my family's new Equinox. Everyone else my wife and I interacted with was great as well: Susan in finance and the gentleman who evaluated our trade. Thanks, guys! One suggestion (LET ME POINT OUT THIS IS NO REFLECTION ON JULIAN'S SERVICE) to management is to improve the time required to fill out the financing paperwork. Over the course of 2 days, I spent 5-6 hours waiting (just waiting) for the finance dept in order to fill out my financing paperwork. The actual paperwork took 10 minutes to complete. Again, that was 5-6 hours over the course of 2 days to fill out 10 minutes worth of paperwork - that's excessive. More

Julian was very professional and accommodating to my needs while I was looking for a new vehicle while not physically at the dealership through email and text messaging which was very convenient for me. When I finally went to the dealership to finish the final process of my lease, I had already worked out many of the details over text and email that possibly could have taken a few hours of back and forth negotiating to complete. I feel satisfied with the way everything went and would recommend Julian to anyone wishing to purchase a vehicle from Tom Gill Chevrolet dealership. More
