Good afternoon, I have been trying to find the correct person to speak to regarding a formal complaint that I would like to file on behalf of my mother. On December 30th, my parents went to a dealership for a trade-in. They made it clear that they did not want to put down any payment other than the value of the trade-in. However, after going through paperwork and a credit check, the dealership opened a Toyota credit card for 28.99% interest and charged $1,500.00 as a downpayment without their consent or knowledge. My mother was told that the truck wasn't ready yet and still needed some inspections. She never received any paperwork. The following day, she changed her mind and decided that she no longer wanted the truck. Never received any paperwork. The next day she decided she no longer wanted the truck and had changed her mind, and was told that she could not do that, and everything was ready to go. My parents then stated they still did not want the truck they said that they would still submit the paperwork to a bank of their choosing and it would be up to my parents to figure it out. naturally, my father left a Google review stating his experience. When my parents went to ask for a refund for the 1,500.00 that was used they, were told they needed to remove their Google review first for them to refund them. after a week of removing their review, they still did not get the refund, so my parents went to ask in person. The sales rep that was present was very rude and threatened to ruin my mother's credit! And have now received a billing statement that the first credit card payment is due. we are just simply trying to place this complaint and to someone about how their employees do business is not right.
