A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!! I couldn't have asked for a better, first, Kia experience! I was greeted when I arrived and the service was excellent until I left with a new Kia Optima! This was my first visit to a Kia dealership. Jonathan Underwood was very friendly, kind, professional and understanding. He made my first experience with Kia a great one! I found the soul I have been dreaming of, price was great, test drive was good. The only thing holding me back from getting it, was my abnormally long legs and leg room. Maybe I need to look at a Sportage? If I do, I will be talking to Jonathan, he was very helpful. I have not been car shopping in 15 years. I did Not have a great experience with the chevy dealers yesterday. I did have a great experience today and I am convinced that Jonathan and the rest of the staff at Kia Franklin made it happen. More

When I came into the dealership I had already done my research. I knew the car I wanted, and Jonathan helped make it a reality. He was friendly, laid back, and never pushy. He kept me laughing while maki research. I knew the car I wanted, and Jonathan helped make it a reality. He was friendly, laid back, and never pushy. He kept me laughing while making me feel at ease with the commitment I was making to this car. I got the car I wanted, at the price I needed, with the financing that works for me. He even filled up the gas tank before I left! Jonathan was a great person to deal with and I highly recommend him and Carnival Kia Franklin. More

Even though I did not purchase a vehicle from his dealership he called to thank me and made sure I knew he was concerned about what I wanted and needed in the vehicle I was wanting to purchase. If and when I do decide to buy I will be looking for this gentleman to to assist me with my purchase. I originally went online and filled out the credit application to see if I would qualify for a loan. Within a few minutes I received an email from Jonathan Underwood asking me to give him more info application to see if I would qualify for a loan. Within a few minutes I received an email from Jonathan Underwood asking me to give him more info about what I was interested in way of a vehicle. I called the phone # he provided in the email and left him a vmail msg to please return my call. Within a very few minutes Jonathan called me and we discussed what I might be interested in. He said he would check on the credit application I had submitted. Within a few minutes I received a call from Tabatha and informed me I had qualified for a car loan. I told her I did not have plans for the afternoon & would drive up to Franklin and ask for Jonathan. I introduced myself to Jonathan as soon as I got the dealership and immediately felt like he was someone I had known for a long time. I am a single female and having to go thru the process of buying a vehicle is very stressful, however, Jonathan made me feel at ease and explained the whole process of selecting a vehicle. After we discussed what I might be needing in a new car, he told me either the Forte or Soul would probably meet the needs I have in everyday use. After discussing with Tracy Davis we decided the Forte would be my best option price-wise. Jonathan brought the car to be and we went over every inch of the vehicle. He told me things about the Forte that I had no idea existed such as the breakaway connections for the motor in case of a head-on collision. This immediately made me feel much more safer and I knew this was the car I was looking for. After we took a test-drive there was no doubt this was the car I wanted. While taking the test-drive, Jonathan went over all the features in the interior and allowed me to drive the car. Jonathan was so undestanding and never hesitated to answer any of my questions. This experience has help change my outlook on the whole process of buying a new car. I have told my friends about Jonathan and advised them to go to Carnival Kia and ask for Jonathan. I will definitely look forward to any further needs I might have in the future and will definitely go back to Carnival Kia in Franklin. I appreciate Jonathan's salesmanship but more importantly his personality and the fact he made me feel like I was the most special customer he had ever had. More

I have to say that I truly enjoyed this car buying experience. I stopped by the dealership just to check out the deals and ended up leaving with a new car for my husband. As a person who NEVER makes large purchases without doing a lot of leg work and research it was incredible that Jonathan was able to get me to walk off the lot with a car. The deal was that great! This is probably the first time in 10 years I have made a major purchase and not second guessed my purchase after it happened. I will come back and buy a car from this Kia dealership for as long as I live in Tennessee; I truly hope that Jonathan will be there each time I do. I have to give a shout out to Andre as well! Both these guys are a blast to talk to and work with. More

I met Jonathan while doing a "drive by". You know, the "I don't really want to talk to anyone, I just want to look." I was beyond pleasantly surprised when Jonathan didn't turn out to be one of know, the "I don't really want to talk to anyone, I just want to look." I was beyond pleasantly surprised when Jonathan didn't turn out to be one of those typical sales men. I'm in sales myself so I'm very familiar with typical sales, the quotas, the mark-up, the up-sells. Jonathan provided an amazing experience with none of that. He was a no-pressure, honest salesman. He gave me likes and dislikes about the vehicles I was inquiring about and was very thorough in figuring out what my needs really were. Looking back, after leaving the dealership, I realized what a pleasant experience it had been to work with him as he was very knowledgable about all the vehicles and really enjoyed what he does. Not just the literal aspect of selling cars, but he seems to enjoy working with people. He is passionate and it really shows. There was no time that I felt as if I was being "sold" and that is very important to me. I felt as if he really had my needs were truly important and not just another car that needed to be moved. I recommend anyone looking for a car to give him the opportunity to surprise you. Thank you for such a great experience, Jonathan! More

If you're planning a trip to Carnival Kia Franklin, make sure you ask to visit with Mr. Jonathan Underwood. First, Jonathan's hospitality is second-to-none...he may seem like "that car salesman-guy" at firs sure you ask to visit with Mr. Jonathan Underwood. First, Jonathan's hospitality is second-to-none...he may seem like "that car salesman-guy" at first, but as soon as you get over your initial fear of "that car salesman-guy," you will understand that Jonathan is really just a great guy period. Secondly, Jonathan is honest. I went to this dealership to look at a Kia Soul. After discussing my budget, he pulled out a used 2011 Chevy HHR...not what I was expecting. I thought I'd give it a try (mainly because Jonathan was such a nice person and he had been working so hard & patiently with me). The car surprised me and I ended up loving it after a test-run. After telling him so, he looked at me and said "My father has one of these cars...I hate it." Have you ever experienced such honesty with a car dealer?! I appreciated that. I did end up purchasing the vehicle, and he and his staff all but bent over backwards to get me close enough to my budget (ended up paying a little more than I wanted to, actually...). I was glad to support Jonathan, earn him one more tally on the sales sheet, and lastly recommend him to anyone reading this site. I'll also say, although I have only had one experience to this point, the service department at Carnival Franklin seems to be top notch. I purchased the HHR before they had a chance to really go through a thorough inspection. Jonathan insisted that the vehicle needed 2 new tires and the service department followed through - giving me 2 tires on the house. They also performed a free alignment, oil change, balance/rotation, brake cleaning, etc. (something they probably do on most used vehicles when they arrive, but I had already had the car for a week and they still followed through with this service - again, at Jonathan's persistence). Overall, I'm very happy and love my new used car. Please see Jonathan and support him - he knows what he's doing and above else is truly PASSIONATE about it! Just do it. More
