Great Products-Very Accommodating Salesman I loved the car and our salesman, but disappointed there was actually no sale or incentives for the car we bought. Glad our dollars go to helpful Honda people doing good things for others. An incentive or rebate of some kind would’ve been nice, or even a little grocery sack or movie tickets. I like they filled up the gas tank, which would’ve been about $50, and they didn’t tack on a charge for it. Our salesmans Johann was very kind and very patient as it had been a long time since we bought a new car (our previous car went 202,000 miles). It took me all day to decide between 2 different dealerships. I never felt like Johann was putting any pressure on me, because the car basically sold itself. He even helped us set up our phones and auto seat adjustments (when you walk up to the car with your fob, the car automatically adjusts the seat to your settings). Cool feature. The only thing that was frustrating was I needed to see numbers but it was like prying teeth, the number people (of any dealership) won’t go over nitty gritty unless you are committed to walking out with the keys in your hand. I had a difficult time with that, because I needed to know those numbers to make a decision, which the numbers person had a hard time understanding. If I’m making a major purchase, I need exact details. It was like it would be wasting their time to do it if I wasn’t serious about buying their car. I was absolutely serious and was leaving with a car from one dealership or another that day. However, I needed the details from BOTH dealerships to make a decision. Dealerships need to learn customers need the details, this alleviates sticker shock. Maybe they need an abbreviated method of an approximation of payments based on customers credit scores, so it is not such a hardship or waste of their time if you decide on a different vehicle at a different dealership. The other dealership had offered 3x what Honda was giving me, so not so generous on the trade ins. More
