This is my third Mazda in five years and every experience with Wantagh Mazda has been more exceptional than the last and that is the main reason why I highly recommend them. We made our decision to lease our car from this dealership primarily because of the nature of our salesman, Victor Liantonio. Victor is down to earth and friendly, and recognized the car features dealership primarily because of the nature of our salesman, Victor Liantonio. The car was the first car for our teenage son, and Victor is a regular guy who was able to relate to all of us well, without being the least bit pressuring or intimidating. I contacted several Mazda dealerships and was told that it would be difficult to find me the car I wanted in the time frame I requested. We were looking at several cars, the Mazda 3, Honda Civc, and Hyundai Elantra. We visited 2 separate dealerships for each model, and test drove each car at each dealership, (6 test drives). When we went to Wantagh Mazda we met David, who showed us the car, then gave us the keys for a test drive, after the test drive he answered all of our questions, and we told him we wanted to look at other cars. David was ok with this and did not pressure us to purchase. We then went to Honda City, Atlantic Hyundai, Advantage Hyundai, Millennium Honda, and Garden City Mazda. (We also did test drive the VW Jetta, and Toyota Corolla, but didn't like either car). After meeting 8 different salespeople, and 8 dealerships, we went back to Wantagh Mazda. It was David's day off, so we spoke to Joe S, the sales manager, we told him our story, and that we had spoken with David already, and that we were ready to buy. There was no xx, he gave us a price, I told him my best price, and we made a deal that I was happy with. He then handed us over to Joe B who wrote up the sales agreement. David called us later to thank us, and was there when we picked up the car to show us about it and do the paperwork. I am 55 yeas old and this was the first new car experience for my daughter, she drove every car, twice, and I assisted her with the sale. I have bought many new cars, but never this easy, with no pressure whatsoever from Wantagh Mazda. I cannot comment on service, yet, but would recommend for new car purchase. More

Not only did they provide the most competitive quote over the phone, but they actually stood by that quote at the dealership. There was never any doubt, that when I arrived at Wantagh Mazda, I had found the kind of dealership that one only dreams of. In every step of the negotiation process, the Wantagh sales team exhibited a most upstanding and honorable demeanor. Their conscientious, meticulous care, while being attentive to my every need, made me feel like a member of their immediate family, or at least a distant relative. So if you are looking for a dealership, where negotiations are conducted without stressful equivocation, this is the one for you. More

My wife and I had visited this dealership after visiting another dealership in the area and doing some price comparisons. Victor was very polite and helpful. We decided to go back to the first dealership as another dealership in the area and doing some price comparisons. Victor was very polite and helpful. We decided to go back to the first dealership as we thought we were getting a better price. When it came down to signing on the bottom line, the other dealership had what I call "ghost" numbers. Additional costs here and there. The deal eventually fell through with the sales manager there. We then decided to go back to Wantagh Mazda. Victor was off for the day but Kenny (whom I have nicknamed Brotherly Love) was willing to help out and showed us the car my wife was interested in. He said he would pass it along to Victor that we had returned. We then went in to see Victor on his return. Victor then introduced us to Joe the sales manager and he and I went back and forth on a price. One thing I must say, Joe was very professional in the negotiating process. Not once was he rude or arrogant in the process. We came to an agreement and my wife left them a deposit. NO HIDDEN COSTS. NO NONSENSE. We picked up the car a week later. They had the car ready and all the paper work in order. This, by the way is our first Mazda. Chances are we will be back there in a year or two to replace our minivan. (Binghamton Express, our daughter is in college.) Our only problem with the car is that my wife can't stay off that gas pedal! It's all Zoom Zoom. Gonna have to buy a second radar detector. Would I recommend them to a friend? Yes. More

I found working with this dealership to be an absolute pleasure. From the moment we walked in and were greeted by Joe the sales manager to when we finally picked up our car the entire staff at Wantagh Ma pleasure. From the moment we walked in and were greeted by Joe the sales manager to when we finally picked up our car the entire staff at Wantagh Mazda was a joy to work with. Joe B was our sales rep and he was such a straight shooter. His price was extremely competitive and made me feel good dealing with him and his dealership. He answered every question I had even if I asked it over and over. He was never impatient and was happy to sit with us and talk about any and all questions we had. We were able to test drive the car easily and when we picked up our car he allowed us to test drive it before accepting delivery. The most important thing I can say about Joe and the whole staff there was they made me feel good about getting my car. Sometimes you walk away feeling like hey I got a new car but ewwww and not so great. Not with this dealership we walked away happy and excited about our car and I put it all up to Joe and his crew for the great experience. DON'T GO ANYWHERE ELSE FOR A MAZDA. We went to two other dealerships and were lied to and given prices over 50 dollars a month more then what wantagh did for us. Shop here and with Joe. You will not be sorry More
