I sent out a request for quote to a number of Hyundai dealers in the Valley. Sean P. answered my quote very quickly and that was followed up by Carl P. and Jim T. Their quote was not the lowest and I had had a previous unpleasant experience with another Earnhardt store so it took a bit of self encouragement to make the trip up to Scottsdale to see what they had to offer. Not to worry. I don't think any dealership I've ever visited is as positive and pleasant as this one. They took me through the initial quote and then offered me an alternative, actually two. I was on my way to accept one of those when, in the course of shooting the bull with Carl, he suggested I look at a Genesis R-Spec. I had not considered this car because of its price but an hour or so of crunching the numbers and it was looking good. I took an evening to think about it some more and get the wife's approval then came back the next day and did the deal. The service was first rate and their price was very reasonable. If you've bought a new car recently you know it takes a bit of time to do all the paperwork and that is doubled with a trade-in but they put everything together in just a couple of hours, Carl walked me through all the high-tech equipment on the car and I was out the door, a happy camper. The car sells itself (at least it did to me) but what cinched the deal was the sales and finance staff. They made sure I understand all the numbers (going over it several times) and never walked away until everything was covered. The car was delivered in first-class condition and although I've only driven it 50 miles so far it is exactly what was promised. I would definitely recommend doing business with these people. They have a great product and back it up with professional sales and service. I'll be a repeat customer. More

I bought two cars over the weekend from Carl... One new Hyundai Tuscon and a used Totota. Both transactions were honest and straightforward business deals. I would buy another car from Carl without question!!!!! Everyone at the dealership (from the sales manager, finance dept, and the service staff that delivered the vehicles) was courteous, professional and generally very helpful. I would also highly recommend the dealership and especially commend their attention to customer service! It was a pleasure to deal with them! If I could give Carl a rating higher than 5 .... it would be 10+. He is the best! Seek him out for your next car purchase and I promise you will be treated fairly. We actually bought 2 cars-both new (a Genesis Coupe (for my daughter) and a Tucson (for me)) on the same day. All of the people we interacted with at Earnhardt Hyundai were friendly, competent and very pleasant. I went in to explore a Hyundai Sonata and was greeted in less than 30 seconds by Sean, was shown a wonde were friendly, competent and very pleasant. After selecting the color I wanted, Jimmy and Sean negotiated with me in a businesslike manner and we arrived at satisfactory deal. When my wife came with me the next day to pick up my car, she was so impressed that she agreed to a test drive of a Tuscon SUV. She bought that car the next day.
