Avoid this shady dealership's service center at all costs! I brought my 2013 Jetta in because the key would get stuck in the ignition while its running and for routine maintenance. After it was ran through the car wash I discovered that both headlights would fog up. They agreed to replace both headlights but when I got the car back they scratched up the leather steering wheel. They agreed to replace the steering wheel and when I got it back I noticed a very deep scratch in the driver door and that both headlights are fogging up again. I'm suspecting they are intentionally damaging my car because they think these issues are too minor. I brought this to Eric Harrelson's attention and he said it is always something with me and he is not going to fix it because VW will charge them for the parts if they don't find a defect. He said I have to take it up with the service director Tom Gould. I have contacted VW which contacted Tom and they said they are not going to help me. I'm selling the VW and never buying a VW product again. I suggest nobody buy a cheap unreliable VW and if you do, definitely do not buy it from this dealership. More

We have been researching the Forrester for several years and decided it was time. We got ore-approved from our Credit Union and made the mistake of going to three other Subaru dealerships before going to t and decided it was time. We got ore-approved from our Credit Union and made the mistake of going to three other Subaru dealerships before going to the Dean Team. Keep in mind we had researched the car wanted to buy and had the money in hand. These three dealerships was a tragic comedy, mean spirited, rude to the point that we were considering not buying the car any longer. We called and Dave Liss put us in contact with Carl Schaeffer. It could not have been a better experience, respectful, patient, through, and professional. We are grateful for the respectful treatment we received. This dealership and Carl in particular are highly recommended to our friends. Thank you Dean Team!!! More

My Sweet Bride and I walked into the dealership not expecting much. We spoke with Mr Jeff Price, who is an excellent and very honest man, and he referred us to Mr Dustin Westhoff. From start to finis expecting much. We spoke with Mr Jeff Price, who is an excellent and very honest man, and he referred us to Mr Dustin Westhoff. From start to finish Dustin was the epitome of a professionalism. He showed a caring attitude toward our situation and went to work to resolve it as quick as possible. When it was all said and done we walked out with a very nice and dependable car for a very fair price. I would without hesitation and have already recommended Dustin and the Dean Team Ballwin to all my friends and associates. Thank you Dustin and God Bless You. More

We brought our 2007 VW Jetta in for it's 100,000 maintenance. We also asked them to check the AC and give it the state emissions and safety inspection. They were ready for us when we dropped it off early in the morning, called promptly after locating the AC problem and were willing to work with the Car Warranty company that we had an extended contract with. The car was ready by the end of the day. Jeff was willing to accept and apply a VW coupon which we had received in the mail and that saved us $93.00. Our only minor disappointment was that the printer in the shop was not working that day for us to get the emissions inspection report, so we will need to bring the car back another day to complete the inspection. That is a minor inconvenience when you are treated so well in every other way. More

My original visit here was for a simple oil change. My car had an airbag light on for about a year, as Suntrup told me the repair would be over $1200.00. After several blunders on the part of Suntrup with regard to servicing my vehicle, I researched which dealership in St Louis had good reviews. Dean Team was at the top of the list. So I took my car there for the oil change. When it came out of service, the airbag malfunction light was off. They fixed it at no charge. Jeff Price took it upon himself to check if the airbag system had a recall on it and there was one. Then he had a tech fix it! I was impressed. This was in October of 2012. Recently (March 2013) my wifes car needed a part. We needed it replaced immediately, as we were about to use her car on a long road trip. Jeff Wahby sent an employee to get the part, got me a car to use from a salesman so I could take care of necessary errands without making my day later while they worked on my car, and got the job done quicker and less expensively than expected. Now I know why the word "team" is in the name. I won't go anywhere else for service. I also bought a pre-owned VW from there sales department and am very happy with the car and the deal I got. More

First of all I was overpriced about a hundred and thirty dollars for brake pads on the rear of my 2009 Pissat , Volkswagen compared to other Volkswagen dealers. I felt it was a total rip-off and the profes dollars for brake pads on the rear of my 2009 Pissat , Volkswagen compared to other Volkswagen dealers. I bought a car my sister recently won. Dean Team is closer to my home and I plan to use them for service. I also needed a salesman to go over the details of how to use the car equipment, etc. as if I h closer to my home and I plan to use them for service. I was amazed at how helpful and friendly everyone was and how well they treated me, even tho the car had not been purchased there. Before receiving the car, we went by Dean to see what it looked like. We had no intention of bothering a salesman, but Carl Schaeffer was so very helpful and applied no pressure on us. We went back a few weeks later after I purchased the car from my sister, and explained the situation to Rick Cody. He was busy but spent enough time with us to show me how to operate some of the equipment in the car. He was obviously not going to sell us a car, but treated us very professionally and was extremely helpful. He introduced me to Jeff Price in the service department, and they discussed the service offered there and answered initial questions re. future purchase of backup sensors. I returned on 2/4/13 to get additional information re. the sensors and to mention one of my tail lights was malfunctioning (warning icon had alerted me to that.) Rick Cody directed me to Eric Harrelson in the service deparment who patiently and thoroughly answered ALL of my questions. He even had the bulb replaced today; AND THEY WASHED MY CAR for me (THANK YOU!). Then Eric even paired my iphone to the car. (THANK YOU AGAIN)!!!! I did not expect to receive such outstanding service as I had not purchased the car there. I absolutely intend to use Dean for my servicing and look forward to future car washes! And I REALLY appreciate the helpful and pleasant attitudes from every one of the employees I interacted with, including "Mark"(?) the man who replaced my exterior bulb. More

Had a problem with tires on a Jetta TDI. Called Service and was able to make an appointment at a convenient time. Jeff Price was the Service Advisor. He called me when the problem was known - within 3 hours of when I dropped the car off, which I thought was great. The problem was that 40K mile Continental tires were put on at the factory, and with 35K miles on them, they were wearing out. Jeff said he could put on another set of Continental tires, or he could put on a set of Yokohama tires. I prefer Michelin tires and usually purchase them through Costco, so I asked Jeff to hold off for a little while so I could investigate. Costco did not have the tire size in stock, and it was going to take 3-5 days. So I called Jeff back and he said that they could have them in the next day, plus he could offer additional savings on a set, so I gave the OK to replace the tires. Jeff called me when the work was done. When I picked up the car, the ride was totally different. It's like a whole different car - it rides much better and tire/road noise is almost non-existent. When I got home I researched the tires Jeff recommended, and found that they were equal to the Michelin tires I was considering - possibly even better. In my opinion Volkswagen should be using the Yokohama tires instead of the Continental tires. I think Jeff did an outstanding job of recommending these tires, and we are very happy with them so far. The only issue is that Jeff advised me the tire warranty is 60K miles, but for the speed rating of our vehicle (W), warranty is only 45K. That is equal to the Michelin tires, so no big deal - just an FYI for future reference. Am extremely pleased with the quality of service at Dean Team in Ballwin - you certainly exceeded my expectations. More

I took my 2011 Subaru Forester for service and was greeted by my sales guy, Brandon, very nice to see him again, He showed me the the service department (I needed to have my car checked). There I was introduced to Jeff Price , the Service Advisor very polite and professional and set up the service to my car and even recomended a couple things. The experience was very nice, I would recomend this Dealer to any body who is looking for a fair deal in the service and maintenance of their Subaru. Good Job!!!! Thanks again. Mel More

I purchased a 2010 Volkswagen Jetta Diesel sedan from Dean Team Ballwin. Sales experience was outstanding. As part of the purchase, all maintenance was included for the first few years, so I have been Dean Team Ballwin. Sales experience was outstanding. As part of the purchase, all maintenance was included for the first few years, so I have been taking my vehicle there for routine service. Have also had to take the vehicle back for a couple of unsecheduled repairs, including a timing belt that broke and an oil leak that proved to be very elusive. My first service visit was excellent. The next several visits - both for routine and unscheduled service - were less than excellent. In particular, the level of communication from Service Department was less than acceptable, and my confidence in them as a reliable service provider was pretty low. Not sure what was going on but it seemed they had lost some focus on customer service. I am very pleased to report that the last two service visits were much improved. In particular the last visit I would rate "5s" across the board. They even took care of a couple of recalls that I was unaware of (received notification via mail from Volkswagen about a week later). In all the last service visit exceeded my expectations, and as of the last encounter, they had increased my confidence back to where it was after the first service visit. More
