On my first day of car shopping I walked into Heritage Ford and was met with a polite greeting from Jake Dwinell. He sat me down and asked what I was looking for. I wanted to see the 2024 Escape. We went for a test drive and Jake remembered what features I liked and showed me those features and the settings. I purchased a 2024 Ford Escape the next day and Jake walked me through all the steps and showed all the features of my new car. When we parted he made it clear to me that anytime I had questions to contact him and he would help. More

My recent car buying experience at Heritage Ford was a complete nightmare, marked by deceitful practices that left me feeling betrayed and frustrated. What started as a routine test drive and seemingly straightforward transaction turned into a distressing situation that I never thought I would encounter. This was the second vehicle I purchased in 18 months from Heritage Ford and will be the last. The test drive went smoothly, and I decided to move forward with the purchase. Little did I know that this decision would lead to an unsettling revelation. After signing the paperwork and eagerly anticipating driving off with my new car, I was taken aback when I was presented with a similar vehicle with slight differences. The car handed over to me had noticeable damage and was not the vehicle I test drove. The damage, though slight, was significant enough to raise concerns about the dealership's integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction. It left me wondering if this was a deliberate attempt to pass off a compromised vehicle, assuming I wouldn't notice or care about the difference. The undisclosed damage included dings on the back of the vehicle that were easily noticeable to the eye. The damage was so great that I was advised the dealership would paint the back of the vehicle in the near future. No one should have to endure the disappointment and frustration that comes with being provided with a different, damaged vehicle after signing on the dotted line. Ultimately, after complaining to management and signing additional paperwork I was sold a similar car with no damage. More
