Sales and Service When we purchased our Ridgeline I was told the extended warranty Hondacare is just like the factory warranty. I had them install a tonneau cover and l When we purchased our Ridgeline I was told the extended warranty Hondacare is just like the factory warranty. I had them install a tonneau cover and lock for the tailgate when I had it serviced at 36,000 miles. The back up camera went out at 41,000 miles. I took it in for service and they said no problem might have something to do with the lock install. When I picked it up I had a huge labor bill. They explained to me that Hondacare does not pay for labor unless there is a part replaced, and they just had to do a hard reset to fix the camera. So the labor charge is for the diagnostic time to know it just needed to be reset. He went on to tell me Hondacare takes a hard stand on labor charges. Beware the Hondacare extended warranty is not like the factory warranty. Interesting how it changes from purchase time to repair time. More

Late yesterday (after 5 pm), my wife had carried our grand-daughter to her swimming event at the local YMCA in north Gainesville and for some reason her 2017 CRV would not start. I called Gary who had been our salesmen and he immediately came to help my wife and made sure the car cranked and she was able to get home safely. I consider this type of attention long after the sale as extremely "above and beyond" the norm -- Mr. Smith is to be commended for his concern and compassion for your Honda customers.
