Dermott has been in the automotive industry since 1994 and with Ryan since 2009. Originally from England, Dermott now lives in Minnetonka and is married with four daughters. He is also the proud grandparent of three wonderful granddaughters. He enjoys working in a family environment as that is his focus away from the office.

We were guided throughout our purchasing experience by the capable and courteous Mr. Dermott Norman. We were interested in a low-mileage used car and he showed us just what we wanted. A 2015 Impala with less than 20,000 miles. He carefully explained the car's many fine features and several optional programs to prolong the life of the car. He personally introduced us to the people specializing in these extended programs and warranties. He accompanied us on a "test drive" to familiarize us with the car. Even the very best service professionals make mistakes when I visit with my vehicle. So, what does that tell you when even the best individuals fail to meet the customer's needs every time they work with the customer? It's probably not the employees' fault when the good are bad and the bad are horrible. On that note, it's the same reason that this review and all past reviews will and have passed without acknowledgment. It's the culture at your business that is failing your customers and that culture is a reflection of management. I am certain that at your business you have issues from time to time that get mishandled. It would appear that is the case at this dealership as far as you are concerned. You mention that your review would pass without acknowledgement. We do take our reviews seriously and treat them as an opportunity to learn and improve. It is, however, more difficult to learn from someone who, rather than offering constructive criticism, prefers to express himself in a self-important manner with anger and contempt for an entire business and follows up by emailing every employee with his ranting and raving. As one of the countless hacks that you refer to, I can assure you that you and your business are not perfect either. We would just prefer to know that and politely not mention it to everyone we meet I maintain my previous point; that while management seeks out individual employees to blame for bad service, it's the culture that management has created that fails their customers. My sister worked with Steve who was also excellent (it was her first new car), she really enjoys her new car as do I! Great Experience Rarely have I felt good after purchasing a car. There is always that thought in the back of your mind 'Did I get a good deal?', but I can honestly say Rarely have I felt good after purchasing a car. There is always that thought in the back of your mind 'Did I get a good deal?', but I can honestly say my wife and I were all smiles as we left Ryan Auto Mall. We were introduced to Ryan Auto Mall and Todd Rodenwald by Dermott Norman whom we'd purchased two cars from at a different dealership. While Dermott is no longer on the sales side, he recommended working with Todd and I'm glad he did. Todd is very easy to work with and walked my wife and I through the whole process. I highly recommend Todd and Ryan Auto Mall. In fact, we drove over 50 miles to Ryan and we'll do it again. More

Dermott was keen to find out from me in person what exactly was wrong with our 2005 Chevy Suburban. He listened carefully as I described the sounds and vibrations our Suburban was making.
