It was a pleasure working with Darren Rocha at Sun Toyota. He made the entire car buying process easy and quite frankly, did most all negotiating over the phone prior to picking up our vehicle. I have Toyota. He made the entire car buying process easy and quite frankly, did most all negotiating over the phone prior to picking up our vehicle. I have never had this positive experience at any other bay area dealership. Darren kept us informed during the entire process whenever we had questions. The Highlander we picked out was slated to be shipped within a couple weeks and actually showed up 4 days after we committed, which was great. When picking up the vehicle, the process was smooth as well. Marc Spatola in finance was very helpful and made the usual financing process, informative and easy. It is a different car buying experience in this new world and Darren and Sun Toyota makes it much easier. The sales manager Nael Barjas also greeted my wife and I and thanked us for the purchase. I will definitely purchase from them again and highly recommend. More

***UPDATE*** Was told a manager would call me about this issue and still haven't heard from anyone. Extremely poor customer service. Purchased a car Saturday October 8th from Sun Toyota. Was told th this issue and still haven't heard from anyone. Extremely poor customer service. Purchased a car Saturday October 8th from Sun Toyota. Was told the vehicle was not at the dealer as it was stuck at the port of Tampa but should be delivered no later than Monday. I receive a text end of day saying it's still stuck at the port but should be there by Tuesday. Ok give I'll give it another day. I text my salesman asking for an update and the car still isn't there and should be there Wednesday. It's now Wednesday and low and behold the car is still not there. Seriously? What kind of service is this? I get the car may be stuck at the port but as a customer that's not my problem. We need some kind of compensation for this wait time. There's no excuse for us to wait this long. This is the fourth car we've bought from Sun and I'm thinking this may be the last. More

I came in to purchase a 2021 vehicle and thought the process was going smoothly until I got home and reviewed the paperwork. My car still had a factory warranty on it with two years left and also Sun To process was going smoothly until I got home and reviewed the paperwork. My car still had a factory warranty on it with two years left and also Sun Toyota was also giving me a lifetime powertrain warranty on the car. After reading my paperwork it stated that I purchased an additional warrant for another $4800! I was contacted by my credit union and they were questioning why they were recieving an invoice for $49,800 instead of the $45,000 we had agreed to. I called the finance person and he stated I have your initials on the paper agreeing to buy the extended warranty. I told him if you had verbalized to me that you were charging me an additional $4800 for a car that was already under warranty you know I wouldnt have approved that. I only gave you a check for $45k and signed all my paperwork, you then proceeded to approach my credit union unbeknowst to me to obtain another $4800! When I returned to the dealership to have their additional warranty removed from my contract the receptionist who was very snippy told me everyone is in a meeting and you will have to just wait two hours until the meeting is over. After I complained to another manager that I was there to deliver a check for $45,000 he found the finance guy. Of course he met me with a nasty attitude and when I asked for a reciept for our transaction he stated I'll mail it to you. I had to go to another manager to get a copy of my contract. Never again in life will I set foot in that dealership. I've purchased over 70 cars and have never met such disrespectful and irresponsible people. I have zero trust in these people. Also I am still waiting for documentation on my life time warranty that they claim they give to their customers. Dont leave without getting it in writing! More
