Minimal Hassle Everyone at this dealership was very nice and accommodating. I also felt that communication with the finance department was lacking as I tried several times to get questions answered before the day of closing and no one got back to me. Ultimately I did get a deal that I was happy with and the car that I was looking for. More

Great experience! I had been looking to upgrade my personal vehicle for about 6 months, and my cousin Jonathan Wolff encouraged me to look to Scranton for my next purch I had been looking to upgrade my personal vehicle for about 6 months, and my cousin Jonathan Wolff encouraged me to look to Scranton for my next purchase, having had an excellent experience himself when buying a similar vehicle. While I've been involved in the automotive industry and have had serious reservations about the buying experience at a dealership in the past, including several less than satisfactory dealings at other places while acquiring cars for my wife, I decided to give it a shot. Being an ASE certified tech, and having run similar businesses in the past, I feel entitled to speak my mind and not have a flim flam routine performed in my presence. I'm a straight forward type of guy, and so is Paulie. When I explained to him what I wanted, expected and was looking for, he didn't hesitate to lead me right to it. There was not even a hint of the commonly contrived 'bait and switch' tactics that most car buyers fear. I got exactly what I was looking for at the price I expected to pay. Everyone was honest and forthright about the value of my proposed trades, and I elected to keep them while still completing my purchase. There were other vehicles for the taking, but he understood the parameters behind my decision making, and didn't stray even by an inch. I'm coming back to take advantage of other upgrades that Scranton offered to make the vehicle a little more compatible with my line of work and personal tastes as well. I'm a car guy at heart, and while many people like me are similarly set against transactions at major dealerships, I can whole heartedly endorse Scranton Motors as a dealership that exceeds the expectations of even the toughest customers like myself. I will be coming back again for my next GM purchase! More

Awful Experience, can not recommend to Anyone It's sad when you drive out of state to purchase a car and it's not ready, even called on the way there. The car was not cleaned and the brakes neede It's sad when you drive out of state to purchase a car and it's not ready, even called on the way there. The car was not cleaned and the brakes needed work, and it was discovered on a test drive. Then, we discovered that the rear brakes were not being fixed. When we went to take the vehicle for a second test drive, we discovered the locking lugs were not replaced. Pretty sad that it took 7 hours to purchase a car. Way to long, and you learn a lot about a dealership sitting there talking to people in the service area. There were more miles on the car then the paper work stated and the pictures that were online (over 400) and the vehicle wasn't cleaned, it was like someone was driving it up until that morning. They were all about getting me to sign the paperwork before I saw the vehicle. I will say the only nice experience that we did have there was with Ashley during the purchase. She was very nice and very efficient. She knew we were there for a long time and didn't take long at all and explain everything and made sure that everything was done correctly. After I purchased my vehicle I was able to find more ratings for them and there were others with complaints as well. Hopefully this review will not be erased. More

My Sales Rep is a Rock Star Lauren Carey was my sales rep at this dealer. I have to say that she went above her role as a salesperson to make sure my purchase and delivery of my Lauren Carey was my sales rep at this dealer. I have to say that she went above her role as a salesperson to make sure my purchase and delivery of my new 2017 Sierra Denali HD was exceptional. Any little xxxx-up that arise, she was on it. Even after I received my vehicle she followed up with some outstanding issues, made sure they were addressed, and completed. Everyone I dealt with was polite and courteous. When you walk into the dealer you are greeted and acknowledge right away. I have been to other dealers where people just walk by you and don't even look your way. Rocky was also a great help with securing financing for my purchase. A small town dealership with first class personnel is what you get with Scranton Motors. More
