Planet Ford - Definitely worth the flight from Dallas Hey Everyone, I wanted to share my experience with buying my 2019 F150 from Colton Smith at Planet Ford in Spring TX. Colton was great to work with. Hey Everyone, I wanted to share my experience with buying my 2019 F150 from Colton Smith at Planet Ford in Spring TX. Colton was great to work with. He gave me pricing options via email and was honest and straight forward with no hidden dealer add-on’s or pressure. I’m in Dallas so I flew into Houston and took an Uber to the dealership arriving at approximately 12:30pm. Bottom line I was driving off the lot at 1:35pm. They already had all the paperwork ready so we were able to spend most of that time showing me the new truck features. What a great experience from everyone at the dealership including Andrew in Finance. Definitely one of the best car buying experiences I’ve had in over 35 years of purchasing cars. Even with the airfare I ended up saving thousands over the local deals I found. More

excellent help from Colton. Dependable, honest, hard working, had the car washed at least 3 time for us between seeing it and picking it up. walked us through ford pass which is Dependable, honest, hard working, had the car washed at least 3 time for us between seeing it and picking it up. walked us through ford pass which is one of the the things that salesmen do not do in this town. ive told multiple people about ford pass and its a definite reason i bought into ford and continure to buy ford. but i have found other ford family who are clueless to ford pass. salesmen are missing the boat on how important it is to mention this option. i believe you could sell more cars if the salemen in your force were trained on the app and had to pass a test showing proficiency in demonstating the capabilities of the app. at least a demo on the showroom floor of ford pass would be a sales tool that is not being utilized today. But its not my dealership, its your so i dont make those kinds of decisions but if i did i would find a way to place more importance in this feature because i have bought two cars because of it. Ive talke to 3 ford owners who were never told about ford pass and you should have seen their faces when they found out. I guess nobody in management is really pushing this feature really hard at all. And definitely not following up to see if it happens. If i owned this dealership my but would be in there all the time. talking to customers and seeing what they thought and giving some goodies away to get real answers. Colton did show us ford pass so i thank him for being a very thorough salesman. Oh yeah while im at. the finance guys gave me some coupon books for maintenance. that should be standard. they dont give you anything at express lube if its not at the mileage mark for the service. That would change, if you need wipers and its time then they should give them up not tell you well you have to wait for your mileage. That sucks. Plus they dont tell you how long you are going to wait to get service at express lube. More

I was not pleased with the length if time it took, 6 hrs. If a customer is going to be there for the length of time I was the dealer should consider providing lunch or at least a vending machine with sandwich If a customer is going to be there for the length of time I was the dealer should consider providing lunch or at least a vending machine with sandwiches. I wanted to purchase a soft drink but a note on the machine said drinks were not cold so just had bottled water provided. When I was with the woman who took me through the process of financing there was a small black box on her desk that required me to sign several times and was not able to see the information on the screen. Need to get that fixed. A man selling after market floor mats etc.did a good job of providing information on what items were available for my vehicle, but did not have the items I wanted in Stock. One more small issue is when the vehicle came back from make ready the wheels were not cleaned well and the front flimsy plastic license plate frame and dealer logo made of card board are not necessary as the first car wash will destroy it. More

Awesome! I've never had a good experience at a carlot, until Planet Ford. I was upside down on a car I hated. I didn't know what to do. I took a chance walk in the door, and they got it done for me. I now have a car that's saving me gas,time,and money. Colton Smith thanks! Anyone reading this go talk to him.
