Great working with Reece Gayden Reece never gave up on trying to get me a new car deal. I had a bad experience with my new GTI 2015. No one at the dean team could fix the problem a Reece never gave up on trying to get me a new car deal. I had a bad experience with my new GTI 2015. No one at the dean team could fix the problem after two months being in the shop. Reece knew I liked the GTI as I had a 2006 model I traded in last year so I knew the car. He didn't let this bad experience go. I walked away one time and sure enough, the next night I had a call from him wanting to get a deal worked out. He kept plugging away for me with a smile and a good word even though I probably wasn't the happiest with How VW handled my 2015 GTI. I have to say, Reece was a great experience and if I do buy another car, I hope that sales person is like him! More

Dishonest Dean Does is Again! Crooks!! Dishonest Dean sold me a car that they claimed was "perfect", "clean", "no issues as far as we know". They gave me a clean Carfax. Dishonest Dean ev Dishonest Dean sold me a car that they claimed was "perfect", "clean", "no issues as far as we know". They gave me a clean Carfax. Dishonest Dean even serviced the car for 3 years -- but they claimed they had no service records. Hmmm....sounds a little shady to me. Shame on them for selling me a damaged used car that they told me was without issues. After I bought the car, my mechanic told me there was extensive damage to the side of the car that any dealership can see. He even showed me the evidence for bodywork. When I went back to Dishonest Dean to ask about it, they played dumb. I asked for a refund or compensation for the damages and then they just started to ignore me. After more than 15 calls to the dealer, the GM Colin would not take my calls. Talk about unprofessional! The GM of a dealership refuses to speak to a customer who bought a car from them. Wow. The only person that would talk to me is Brandan, but he also gave me the runaround. Unless they change their tune, I will see them in front of a judge. I would recommend avoiding this dealership at all costs. You will also notice that a lot of the reviews on this site are fake -- probably written by employees or friend of Dishonest Dean. The short reviews are all the fake ones. More

Don't Waste your Time I leased from Dean Team Kirkwood in 2010; it was my first and last experience - NEVER AGAIN! I made the deal during a difficult time personally and I I leased from Dean Team Kirkwood in 2010; it was my first and last experience - NEVER AGAIN! I made the deal during a difficult time personally and I accept responsibility for signing the papers but they were misleading and deceptive then and most recently difficult at best. Four years after signing the lease my car is worth half of the payoff. In July, I visited them regarding this issue as well as damage they caused when my car was being serviced that hadn't been fixed - this was after a letter I sent to the general manager was completely IGNORED. They promised they wanted to make things right and would do everything they could to get me in a new car. They also agreed if they couldn't, they'd fix the damage so I could go elsewhere. Five months of repeated phone calls and follow ups with no progress resulted in my demanding they fix the damage immediately due to my lease expiring on 12/30. They finally picked up my car on 12/11 and gave me a loaner. Mine was supposed to be ready Christmas Eve but when my kids and I showed up, it wasn't even there. After waiting, they put us in a larger loaner to accommodate our needs for the holidays. We drove a few miles when smoke came pouring out from under the hood. My kids were terrified and we waited an hour for them to bring us a replacement vehicle. The person I dealt with on my car repair and loaner, Tom Ebner, was the only decent person at the dealership and was helpful and apologetic about the issue with the loaner. I was finally able to pick up my car late on 12/29 with the lease expiring the next day. I could continue to pay on the car past that date but I wanted to end any association with this dealership immediately and the car was getting too many years on it. I scrambled and spent much time on the phone, finally securing another deal on Saturday, 1/3. It cost me more money that I care to think about to get out of the mess but I was elated to NEVER have to deal with this place again. I accept responsibility for my part in this mess but not only has Dean Team NEVER accepted any responsibility or admitted fault, they left messages criticizing and blaming me, trying to make me feel bad - as if I hadn't done that to myself! This behavior - lack of ethics, decency and customer service - should NOT be rewarded with your business. The financial institution where I had my former lease told me they don't do business with them anymore because they started seeing a pattern in their loans/leases where they are screwing people over. The stress they caused and time/distraction from my kids, especially during this last month of the holidays, is inexcusable. I am happy to be done with them! There are plenty of other places willing to work for your business and treat you fairly and with respect. Dean Team Kirkwood is NOT one of them! More

Colin Berndt also helped us by letting Dave and Kyle get creative to make everything work from a price standpoint. My wife and I are very happy with our new VW and with the deal we made. More
