Quick and easy buying experience. The pre-owned car that we had pre-selected on line was ready and waiting for us when we arrived for our 11:00 appointment. The salesperson, Daisy, went with us to explain the features of the car as we took a test drive. The car was exactly what we were looking for! After working out the financial details, which included a trade-in, we were in the driveway with our "new to us" car. Everything was clearly explained and we left feeling that we had made a good and fair transaction. PS: We are returning to BMW of Salem due to, a large extent, our prior service relationship with Chris Wright. With Chris in charge of service we know that we will be well taken care of. More

BMW of Salem is worth the visit for PDX area customers I recently purchased a new BMW from Brian K at BMW of Salem and was very happy with the transaction. I live in the Portland area and Brian was more r I recently purchased a new BMW from Brian K at BMW of Salem and was very happy with the transaction. I live in the Portland area and Brian was more responsive to my questions and more competitive on price than the PDX area BMW dealers. I ultimately special ordered my new BMW and Brian provided constant updates on the production and shipping status. His estimate of when the new car arrived was very accurate. Brian is a real BMW enthusiast and was very knowledgable of the brand. He had lots of good advice on features and what options made sense for my special order. I would gladly purchase any future BMW from BMW of Salem and would recommend them to anyone considering a new BMW. More

Honesty, integrity and moral fortitude..at a car dealership? My wife and I put all of our belongings in storage and decided to explore these United States. We left Boston, MA in our high mileage 2007 X5 and hit My wife and I put all of our belongings in storage and decided to explore these United States. We left Boston, MA in our high mileage 2007 X5 and hit the road pulling a 27' travel trailer. Now as you may imagine, our X5 wasn't really designed for this and we had several problems requiring service stops along the way, the worst being that the self-levelling airbag suspension needing to be replaced. I probably blame us for unwittingly exceeding the weight restrictions. ANYWAY my point is that we have visited many dealerships and many service departments across the country, we've experienced the good, the bad and the plain ugly and I can say without equivocation that meeting and working with Chris Wright was one of the high points. I truly hope that his employer holds him in the high esteem that he is due. He is a gentleman, exquisitely proficient at his job and an enormous asset to the Lithia group and the BMW brand. In my opinion he achieved the improbable; redeeming a bad first impression. This is not an easy task especially with someone such as myself. In my experience when things start bad, they usually continue badly and then conclude worse, the best advice is to get out early and quit while you're ahead. This was not the case in this instance.
