Very happy first time car buyer! I went into Hollywood Kia on Tuesday looking to purchase my first car on my own. I had my heart set on the Optima but after visiting other dealerships I went into Hollywood Kia on Tuesday looking to purchase my first car on my own. I had my heart set on the Optima but after visiting other dealerships I wasn’t sure if I would be able to afford it. My salesman Chris Lopez was very relaxed, thorough and honest about what to expect, and most importantly I did not feel pressured to buy. Multi point inspection Came in for a multi point inspection on my 2017 optima once it hit 10,000 miles. Everyone at this location was very nice. Best car buying experience Chris and Carlos were excellent! I came in to buy-out my lease but just lost my job and had to retire. I couldn't afford the payment I've been paying Chris and Carlos were excellent! I came in to buy-out my lease but just lost my job and had to retire. I couldn't afford the payment I've been paying for the past 3 years. Chris advised me that I needed to look for a used car somewhat newer with low mileage. He then went to work and found 4 cars that would get me to the payment I was looking for. He brought over the first car and wow I was blown away!!! I now believe in love at first sight! ran my credit and got the approval right away. I won't deal with anyone other than Chris or Carlos (manager) again when dealing with car buying. Thank you for your incredible service and will send everyone I know looking for a car to Chris! By far the best experience I've had at a car dealership. More

However, service both during and after the sale are lacking. Not only was i promised a $500 discount on the car that was rescinded just days before I was to fly into town and drive the car back, but I've been getting the run around on the status of my registration. I purchased the car on 3/11 and spoke with a young lady at the dealership today who said she just processed the paperwork yesterday... Why are you just now processing it 13 days later? I have 20 days in which to register the vehicle in my state before I have to pay a penalty, and of those 20 days I only have 8 remaining. I've bought a sold my fare share of cars over the years, and this experiences has been really lackluster. I'm not even the type of customer who expects my butt to be kissed and to be made to feel like I'm king, just respect me, my money and my time. That's all I ask and if that's what you're looking for then go elsewhere because you won't get it at Hollywood Kia! More

Instead I was met with courtesy, integrity, and they delivered exactly what they promised. Because it was so close to the holidays the shipping of the paperwork got messed up, but they went above and beyond to make it happen! I was originally working with Michael and he did a phenomenal job. Last minute Chris had to step in for him because of an emergency. Chris is hands down one of the best salesman I have ever had the opportunity to work with. Keep in mind the dealership is in Florida and I am located in North Carolina, however everytime I send a text or picked up the phone he answered. He never lost his cool even when things got tough because of the paperwork, and the experience was the best car buying experience I've ever had.
