He has been in his current position for several years, earning Honda recognition as a "Platinum Level" Automotive Service Advisor. Family is Chris' favorite pastime, but when away from work and not spending time at home, he enjoys fishing and motorcycle riding.

Excellent Service for 16 Years I have purchased 2 Honda Pilots here & have also serviced them here for the last 16 years. I've recently moved to California & I'm struggling to find I have purchased 2 Honda Pilots here & have also serviced them here for the last 16 years. I've recently moved to California & I'm struggling to find a Honda dealership that I like even 1/2 as much. Chris Taylor was my service advisor all of those years & my service couldn't have been better. He was honest, knowledgable, always pleasant & really great to work with. I even had engine trouble one time while traveling out of the state & while I was on the side of the highway Chris helped me try to diagnose the problem & find the closest dealership. I wish every dealership had employees like Chris! More

Trust is a Must RE: Service: 5/22/2014 I am a single woman and over the years I have felt at times a little intimidated by car repairs. Sometimes I felt like "they c RE: Service: 5/22/2014 I am a single woman and over the years I have felt at times a little intimidated by car repairs. Sometimes I felt like "they could see me comin' ", and possibly not be so honest. However, I don't feel that way at Mungenast Honda. Gave me great service during an emergency (lost most of braking ability) and determined no additional work necessary after car cooled down. I was only charged for labor for inspection (removing rear drums and finding all pads, drums, cables and fluid were good). Service Advisor Chris Taylor was extremely patient and polite when reviewing potential damage and cost prior to inspection of the car. And the Mechanic Tracy (Tech) was thorough and checked everything. They didn't charge me for anything I did not need. What Happened: I unknowingly drove with my emergency brake partially on, and suddenly, about 3 blocks from my home, lost about 90 percent of my braking ability. Managed to park at home safely and immediately called Service Advisor Chris Taylor at Mungenast Honda. I was upset and wanted to bring in the car the next day but didn't know what time as towing company only does two hour windows. Chris told me to bring in my car any time the next day. Before I hung up, we discussed potential damage and cost regarding brake pads, rear drums etc. When I arrived the next day with the tow, Chris and I again discussed potential damage and cost, and said within the hour would have determination of needed repairs. Well, within the hour, they had determined no repairs were necessary. Driving with the emergency brake on had heated the pads and made them too soft. But no permanent damage! I have been going to Mungenast St. Louis Honda for several years now and they have my trust. More

I bought my 2001 Honda new from St. Louis Honda and have always serviced it with them. There was no question, when it was time to retire my car that I would do business with this dealership. The staff at ST always serviced it with them. There was no question, when it was time to retire my car that I would do business with this dealership. The staff at STL Honda is a pleasure to do business with, they value customer service and made the process easy and enjoyable. From the time, I entered the service bay with my old car, through the test drive, negotiation and payment on my new car I was treated with patience and respect. And most importantly, I feel I got a great deal on my new car. My relationship with this dealership will now continue and I highly recommend them to anyone in the St. Louis area. More

Background: I have a twelve year old Honda Civic. My Background: I have a twelve year old Honda Civic. My old dealership sold out to another dealership about two years ago and I was not satisfied with Background: I have a twelve year old Honda Civic. My old dealership sold out to another dealership about two years ago and I was not satisfied with the treatment received at the new dealership. So I searched for another dealership: Web reviews, Better Business Bureau, and friends reviews. Found St Louis Mungenast Honda. But Mungenast Honda still had to prove themselves to me. I just wanted good, honest, professional and friendly service. Previously I had completed all oil changes and scheduled tune ups and services. However, Hondas are really good cars and I had not spent very much on replacing parts and I knew, after ten years, I would have to start spending some bucks. This is why I recommend this dealership: Over the last two years, Mungenast Honda service included replacing the brake pads (for the first time),fixing oil leaks, and the 100,000 mile service. During each visit Service Advisor Chris Taylor always greets me, reviews all work needed, supplies me with any coupons and answers ALL my questions regarding price and what is needed to maintain my Honda. We also review after the work is done. So during these last three years, because of Chris Taylor, and the wonderful Service department and Body Shop, have come to trust this dealership. Also love the many amenities included, such as doughnuts, free car washes, loaner cars and a shuttle service for drop offs and pickups while you wait. This is a 5 star experience. More
