My name is Chris Curtis, Assistant Service Manager for Germain Toyota of Columbus. Joining the Germain team in May 2018 I have a vast background working in the automotive industry since 1993. I strive every day to provide the best value in service with a smile and a handshake. Born and raised in Granville, OH I enjoyed being from a small town. I’m a graduate of Granville HS and participated in numerous manufacturer training seminars. My wife Jennifer and I have 5 children, Chase, Gwen, Alex, Abby, and Keegan. I enjoy spending my free time with family and friends, preferably at a beach. My favorite vacation escape happens to be South Florida. If I were to be a superhero I would have to be Ironman, he has cool toys and gadgets. When relaxing especially at the beach I enjoy kicking back and listening to my favorite tune One by U2. My favorite Toyota is the Camry, it’s sporty yet functional.

When I made my appointment, I expressed concern about safety during COVID. I was assured protocols were in place to wear masks, etc. However while I was waiting there was a lady sitting at the new car safety during COVID. I was assured protocols were in place to wear masks, etc. However while I was waiting there was a lady sitting at the new car sales desk with her mask hanging off of her ear. I looked at her because I thought she may have been a customer, but she was not. I kept looking at her and she finally put the mask on, but when I stopped looking she let it hang again. She appeared to be a salesperson. As a retired registered nurse I take mask wearing, hand washing, etc VERY seriously. I then saw a lady with very straight blond hair walk repeatedly between the office areas with her mask under her chin. I am not comfortable with this at all since mask wearing is essential to protecting your staff and customers. This virus is air borne and the new strain is even more contagious. I am shocked at the lack of consistency with some of your staff and their blatant disregard for others. I have always appreciated your excellent customer service, but this needs to be addressed immediately. I also had requested an estimate on some body work when I scheduled my oil and tire rotation. This request was confirmed on my confirmation email. I was sent next door andI found out I needed an appointment to get an estimate, but they looked at the car, took pictures and said they would send me an email with the estimate which I appreciated. Everyone was very nice, but the lady at the farthest desk left of the service desk was not wearing her mask, but had it under her chin. She appeared to be supervisory since she was telling others what to do. This again was a flaragrant violiation of your policy. At one point she came close to me and I stepped outside to avoid her. While COVID is a threat, I will not be bringing my car back in for service. I did report the situation to my service person at the new car area and he apologized which I appreciated, but this does not minimize the risk of infection. More

Always great service here. And a great selection of rental cars while waiting on the service to be done. The packets of information they give after service is complete is very helpful in knowing of any rental cars while waiting on the service to be done. I don't appreciate being lied to and having my time wasted. I sent over an hour at the Toyota store to get my oil changed and they did not change it. I don't trust them now. wasted. This was my first time at Germain Toyota since I moved. All my previous service was very good at Zanesville Toyota for 18 years. I was very impressed with the service and atmosphere at Germain Toyota and my Highlander runs so much smoother after the fuel pump was replaced. Also, the 15,000 mile service was excellent and the service readout was the best I have ever seen. Most important to me, since I live in a senior retirement community, was the concern for customers you showed by how protective the workplace is arranged. Murray McMillan More

My service and recall service was great but it took a lot longer than I ever expected. My service rep Chris Curtis was wonderful and kept us updated. Great work! Friendly people! Awesome customer service. There was an issue with the pricing but it was promptly resolved by management. They did an excellent job with the care for my vehicle.
