Don't waste your time here. Run to another dealership! I'm sad to say that I sent my husband to buy a new Honda Pilot today, but he came home without one. While he said the salesman was nice, the company I'm sad to say that I sent my husband to buy a new Honda Pilot today, but he came home without one. While he said the salesman was nice, the company misrepresented itself by posting a price simply used to lure people in. The vehicle in question was listed with a final price 32,500 yet my husband was quoted 38,000 due to "upgrades" like rain gaurds and running boards. This is false advertising. He was also offered $1000 less than kelly blue book for my trade in..$6500. The car was also listed as new, however, a car with 7000 miles, is not a new car. We went to Vic Bailey Honda in Spartanburg. What you see on their website is exactly what you get at the dealership. They have a no-haggle pricing system and give fair trade-in values for your car. I left with a 2015 Honda Pilot.. Less than 100 miles, heated leather seats, sunroof, DVD, and more for 32,000 and they gave me 8,700 for my vehicle. Make sure to ask for John M. Perhaps they should focus less on contests and more on car sales. More

Mr Alston Goes The Extra Mile :) Let me begin by stating this review is about 1 person in particular, Chris Alston. I recently purchased a vehicle and needed to get full coverage insurance. I was promised by the guy in finance they would assist with paying the $80 needed for the insurance. After returning the next day as I was told to do, the gentleman in finance advised that the person that was to cut me the check was either gone for the day or forgot. I was told to return the next day, and I could pick it up then. To make a long story short everyone there was oblivious to what I was referring to the next day when I returned( the gentleman in finance wasn't there). Eventually I was told, 'today is the 1st of the month, and we don't have the money!!! Mr Alston, who didn't sell me the car, but made the deal happen just happened to notice my sense of disappointment and asked if he could help. I advised him of the situation, he briefly spoke with several people as well. He then retuned with a look of disappointment as well, but he didn't stop there. Mr Alston offered to just pay it himself. We both were in shock that a multi-million dollar dealership, who promised me they would take care of this for me, was reneging on a promise, and willing to lose out on a deal over a mere $80. I took him up on his offer and agreed to pay him back ASAP. He was the only one there willing to go the extra mile, and needs to be commended for it. It goes without saying he had no obligation to do this, but realized and was shocked that the dealership would back out of an agreement and potentially let a deal in excess of $30k go down the drain over $80. Kudos to him, and those in the world like him. Going that extra mile speaks volumes to his sense of doing what's right, and helping a customer in somewhat financial dire straits. I truly hope his management is aware of the gem they have in him. Thanks Mr. Alston. More

Freinds For Life This was my first experience at Midlands Honda and even my first Honda. When we got to the dealership, we started looking at all of the Honda CR-V's t This was my first experience at Midlands Honda and even my first Honda. When we got to the dealership, we started looking at all of the Honda CR-V's that were on the lot. As we were looking, we had a saleman come up to us. We were greeted by David Outen. I liked him from the start. I started explaining the type of CR-V I was interested in and David immediately started working hard to find the CR-V I wanted. The one thing that I remember the most is that he told me "you will be leaving in a CR-V today." David find the one for me. We went inside and this is where I got to meet Chris Alston, when we start talking about nunbers. He did an amazing job with getting me to a payment that would work for me. A few short hours later, I was leaving in my 2014 Honda CR-V. I also had great customer service from all the different areas within the dealership sales to finance to delivery. I can say that I have 2 new firends for life. Thanks Midlands Honda. More

Irate, disappointed and shocked Went to the dealership cause of a vehicle they had online. It was a 2012 CR-V Certified Pre-Owned listed for a $19,966. Got there and like normal was Went to the dealership cause of a vehicle they had online. It was a 2012 CR-V Certified Pre-Owned listed for a $19,966. Got there and like normal was greeted by several salesperson. I looked around and asked about other cars on the lot before I decided to test drive the one I was looking at. Keep in mind that it is supposedly a CPO car. Car drove good with no known issues as far as drive train. I did notice how ever there was a star in the windshield. Sales person said it would be fixed. Upon returning to the lot, I got out and wanted to inspect all of the car thoroughly. I opened the back doors and let down the seats. I wanted to check out the cargo area from the rear, but unfortunately the hatch would not open by the latch. Sales person assured me they would fix it. I couldn't understand how if it was a CPO how can these things be missed and/or be missed while they cleaned the car for resale. I figured they would compensate for my hassle of having to bring it back in for repairs. They did not. Instead of trying to make the sale which I already decided that it was the one I wanted. They took me inside to do the paperwork no big deal right? Wrong, I was never given a breakdown of the price, fees, or anything else they added. Instead they went completely off of what I wanted to pay per month. I had already figured up what I could afford and what my max was going to be for the car. I had a trade in that I knew I was upside down on and already figured that part into the price. After several times of coming back and forth from the managers office. We agreed to a payment(NOT THE PRICE). Time to move over to yet another office to sign the paper work. Upon signing the papers I noticed that the numbers were extremely higher than I had expected to see. I asked about the figures and was told that it was because of the fees and the trade in. After taking a double look at it, none of that was even added to the price yet. Sale price was $22600(advertised $19966 online) on the loan papers. The financial manager couldn't explain to me why the car was higher than what was advertised online. After the Sales manager came in to look at the numbers he stated that the price difference was for it to be Certified Pre-Owned. I asked him isn't that what you had posted online, that it was already CPO and now you are charging me just to say it is CPO. Upon further discussing the matter I asked what it meant to have a CPO car when there were problems with it and I would have to use my time, gas and energy(I live 56 miles away) to have the repairs done to the car. He had no response except that they would fix the problems. Still no discount or offers for my aggravation and hassle of bringing it back for repairs. After all that, he dropped the price back down to what it was advertised for. Now after taking it home and driving it over the weekend. I scheduled for the repairs for Monday morning. I arrived and checked in at 8. I was there for about 2.5 hours before they came back out and said oh by the way you have 2 bad door lock motors. An hour later, they came and told me I would have to come back for the repairs. They didn't have any instock to fix the problems. I was told the windshield would have to be ordered and they would schedule that later. Took it back again Tuesday morning for the door locks. It took them over 4 hours for them to call me to come pick it up(I wasn't going to waste another morning sitting there). Well the doors lock and hatch opens as it should. Mechanic left grease all over the door handles and got some of it on the seat and interior door panel. I just decided to clean it myself. Still needing to schedule an appointment to have windshield replaced. I have doubts of caring it back to them but have no choice and will schedule another repair to have the windshield replaced. Personally if I didn't like the car and wanted it that day. I would have walked out and never looked back. All I can say is before you sign, look at the figures. More
