The vehicle that we purchased was fairly priced and in good condition. However... If you value your time and expect the dealership to meet the expectations/timelines that they set, look elsewhere. We made an appointment to come in on a Saturday at 12PM to complete all of the paperwork for our purchase. We arrived at 11:45, and were told there were a few people ahead of us. No problem, we can wait awhile. Fast forward 2 hours later, and we are still waiting, seeing multiple groups of people go into the finance office ahead of us. Cameron apologizes profusely, even having his manager come over who quite frankly, made the situation worse by saying “does the doctors office ever take you on time? If you like the car, you need to wait or come back another time.” No sir, the doctor does not take me on time. However, if I had to wait 2 hours past my appointment time to see the doctor, I would never be back. Come to 2PM, and the finance office is finally ready for us. The gentleman, while constantly joking around, does not have one ounce of customer service in his body. Seeing us visually angry, he decided to tell that Saturday’s are “first come first serve”, and that our appointment basically didn’t matter to him. 0 remorse for a customer who was handing over 10s of thousands of dollars and was forced to wait over 2 hours to do so. I was never told that when I made the appointment. Just another reason to add to our anger. 45 minutes later and we were finally done. We were supposed to come pick up the car on Monday, barring any issues. Of course it wasn’t ready, no problem. Then they needed another document. Send that right away. Tuesday comes, not ready. Wednesday, oh the finance guy forgot to have you fill something out, can you please drive to your parents house tonight to have it filled out. got it, you can drive the car but with dealer plates. Thursday comes, and with plenty of pushing I am finally able to drive my car with all the correct plates, etc. As mentioned, Cameron did do everything he could throughout all of this, and I understand that it isn’t his fault directly. Dealerships aren’t anyone’s favorite place to be, but this experience was extreme. If I was simply told that Saturdays are first come first serve (meaning, don’t make me an appointment), and that my car wouldn’t be ready until Friday (instead of every day leading up to then), then I wouldn’t have such a sour taste in my mouth. But unfortunately I do, and would not purchase a vehicle from Pride ever again. More
