Caleb was a lot of fun to work with and knew the product. Stayed late two nights to help me get this done. Nat did a great job on getting the paper work done late in the day. Love the truck. Was happy with my trade in price but dealership was reluctant to budge much on price of vehicle being purchased. I feel we got the vehicle for a fair price only considering the trade in. We set u reluctant to budge much on price of vehicle being purchased. I feel we got the vehicle for a fair price only considering the trade in. We set up a time to close for 4pm on Monday after securing the vehicle the Saturday prior. We arrived at 4pm and had to wait an hour and a half until we got in with the financing person. Not acceptable. The odometer listed on my trade in on the paperwork was listed 12k miles less than the actual. I pointed that out to the finance person and they said basically it was no big deal. Seems odd. Our new vehicle needs part to make the Apple CarPlay compatible. We were not told this until we came in to close. Now we need to come back to have the part installed. Had we of known this we probably would have opted to close on a later date after the part was installed. The finance person told us for our lifetime powertrain warranty that we MUST have the vehicle serviced at St. Cloud Toyota because we live within 50 miles of the dealership. I questioned this repeatedly and was told that all service had to be done there. There is a clear disclosure on the Lifetime Loyalty Program paperwork that says basically says "should you live within 50 miles of the selling dealer and choose to perform your recommended maintinence from somebody other than the selling dealer you must contract the Administrator of this Certificate for permission to maintain eligibility." So basically I can do my maintenance at another place I just have to make sure I contact the Administrator of the Loyalty Program to make sure it would be covered. I don't necessarily NEED to come to St. Cloud Toyota which is what I was told I basically had to do. I do a lot of my business with a local auto repair place that I highly trust and I will continue to go there if I am allowed under the Loyalty Program. I have had other issues with St. Cloud Toyota in the past. For one, I was quoted about $1400 for a complete fluid exchange in my Toyota Tacoma. I brought the quote to the place I do my auto repairs and had all the same work done for just under $900. I know dealership labor is atrocious which is why I avoid dealerships for paid maintenance but a $500 difference is crazy. Also, the last time we brought in my wife's Highlander we were told that we needed an alignment. I reluctantly told them to go ahead with the alignment since the vehicle was there anyways out of convenience. Shortly after we were called again and said that they can't do an alignment on our Highlander (I forget the reason but it really didn't make any sense to me) and that as long as I keep up with the tire rotations we should be fine. Odd. We have done business with St. Cloud Toyota in the past because it is our local Toyota dealership. I like the brand and plan to stick with them when purchasing vehicles in the future. However, I know multiple people who have gone out of their way just because the have not had good experiences with St. Cloud Toyota. They have gone to cities dealerships just to avoid St. Cloud even though they live local. I have been told that the experience was completely different than what they encountered here. We did not have a choice because St. Cloud had the exact used vehicle we wanted, a lightly used, low mileage Rav4 Limited with the specific options my wife wanted; therefore, we did not have much of a choice on where we purchased from. Overall, we had a good salesperson. He could have been a little bit more informed about the vehicle (we did set up a test drive time prior) He didn't know about the CarPlay issue and was unsure of some of the cars features when we asked him. Side note, Dan Pope is an excellent employee, always cordial, understanding and very helpful. No experience with him for this purchase but am always glad if I step into his booth for service. More

St Cloud Toyota did a great job with this online purchase and sale of a used Land Cruiser. I work in the retail automotive industry and interact with dealers throughout the U.S., so I have a certain expecta and sale of a used Land Cruiser. I work in the retail automotive industry and interact with dealers throughout the U.S., so I have a certain expectation on how a transaction should unfold. Each of the online sales staff, Caleb, and SCT were responsive and professional throughout the sales process. No reservation in recommending any online shopper to do business with this dealership.
