I dealt initially with Samantha Gettings, who was okay. Then she handed off to C.J. Marella. I came to agreement with Toyota Scion of Wallingford on buying the car and put down a $1,000 deposit on June 9. Then she handed off to C.J. Marella. I came to agreement with Toyota Scion of Wallingford on buying the car and put down a $1,000 deposit on June 9. However Mr. Marella not able to produce clear title and deliver the car until July 10. Then, when they finally did deliver the car, the odometer was showing 19,568 miles, not the 18,000 miles that had been advertised (I printed off a copy if the internet posting). So, the dealership sold a car that was not marketable (probably illegal), took a month to deliver the car, and let someone drive the car 1,500 miles (also probably illegal) And it gets worse. When the car was delivered, it had a rock chip in the windscreen (probably illegal) and reeked of cigarette smoke. Also, they only gave me one key, which the nice people at Riverhead Toyota Scion tell me is against Toyota policy. I have ordered a second key, which cost me $242.82, and I will have to pay another $100.00 to get it programmed. And it gets worse still. Mr. Marella said the dealer would pay to have the rock chip fixed, which I did to the tune of $136.81. And then Mr. Marella stopped returning my calls. So, in addition to being without a car for a month and then getting a stinky car with almost 9% greater miles, I am out $479.63. This is my second Scion and I have been very happy with the product, but the sales and service from Wallingford have been abysmal. I hope Toyota of America will make this right and save me from having to complain to the Connecticut Attorney General and the Bureau of Consumer Affairs. I can be reached at 212.698.3634. More

Great experience buying my new Highlander. CJ Marella was very helpful and knowledgeable, and I appreciated the VIP treatment before, during and after my purchase. Frank and Gloria were very friendly an was very helpful and knowledgeable, and I appreciated the VIP treatment before, during and after my purchase. This is our second time buying a new Toyota from Wallingford Toyota. The experience with both purchases has been a very good one. We knew just what we were looking for this time and CJ Marella was Wallingford Toyota. The experience with both purchases has been a very good one. We knew just what we were looking for this time and CJ Marella was the best person we could have asked for. He was patient with us in what we wanted, had great information and knowledge of the Avalon Hybrid we were looking for. We had to wait for the one we wanted, but was in the time frame they said we would have it. When the car arrived CJ explained how to use all the equipment inside and out, thoroughly. He assured us that we could get in touch with him anytime we needed anything. He also introduced us to the manager,Frank, who was very accommodating too. It has been a great experience dealing with Wallingford Toyota for the second time, even better than the first time. More
