Had a professional experience Burton Randall - Sales Agent was very knowledgeable and professional. He seemed to know what we were shopping for and provided us with the product. Burton Randall - Sales Agent was very knowledgeable and professional. He seemed to know what we were shopping for and provided us with the product. Burton Showed professional Care to My Wife whom the Car was Intended. Test Drive was properly administered. All of the other personnel were professional Mikey (sales manager) and the General manager were helpful . Our only concern was that the promotion during our initial contact was not fully explained until we arrived and was informed that the promotion was for other auto styles and not what we were looking to purchase. The other concern was that when discussing our trade-in the personnel appeared unconcerned regarding My Professional efforts in Car Care Maintenance over an extended period of time. Respectfully, Mr. & Mrs. Walter Harmon More

Financing-shamed for several hours The short version of this review is that this dealer stopped at nothing to make me miserable for not choosing their financing. Our first salesman told The short version of this review is that this dealer stopped at nothing to make me miserable for not choosing their financing. Our first salesman told us we were a waste of time. The second salesman was calling me while I was at my credit union, already signing papers, berating me for not financing through them, then proceeded to yell at me and argue with me for 15 minutes once I got back to the dealership with cash in hand. We were told we were "a time sink," and they tried their hardest to make us feel stupid for making smart investment choices. Dealers like this are why we have "No pressure" environment dealers. The details: As a profession, I analyze data to calculate return on investment for my department. I also work with budgets. Obviously, I do research and math before I go into a large investment for myself, as well. I went to this dealer simply wanting a used Kia Optima that they had sitting on their lot for a few months. This was enough to set off at least 2 of their rabid salesman. First, their prices on the cars did not match the prices online for the same cars. That should have been a red flag. After having the salesman assure us that the online price would be honored, we tried to haggle the trade-in value, since the amount they were going to give me for my trade-in was negligible after they took their "clerical fees." Once we had a deal, we had to get a bill of sale from the dealer to take to our credit union. The salesman tried what should have been his last attempt to get us to finance through them, we assured him we were not going with their financing, and we started the paperwork. This man took about 4 TRIES to spell my name right. We had to keep reprinting the paperwork over and over and spelling it like Sesame Street to get him to get the contract correct. We wasted a few hours this way. Finally, we leave and go to our credit union. While we are at the credit union, I get a call from the salesman and he is telling me that he "has to go pick up a car" in 2 hours and that we are taking too long and that "THIS IS WHY we tell you to get financing through us." Well, I told him I did not want their financing and I was not going to talk to him about it further. Two hours pass and we are just trying to get everything squared away between the credit union and insurance and he calls me again. All he says is "What's taking so long?" I told him the same thing that took us so long when we were at the dealership that morning. I have a mountain of paperwork. He keeps telling me he has to cancel his appointment with some other clients and trying to guilt me into being rushed because now all of a sudden he has this big deal appointment that I'm apparently impeding upon. First rule of customer service, don't tell the customer all your problems. This is not professional in any manner. I would never do this at my job because I don't get paid for my clients to care. As we are returning to the dealership, the salesman texts us and says "We never got proof of insurance." So, the proof of insurance, that I had faxed to them 5 hours prior never arrived at the dealership and he waited 5 hours to tell me about it. At that point, I was livid. I don't see how this man wasn't doing all this to us on purpose. We return to the dealership, I make sure to have it emailed to me and then emailed to the salesman to make SURE I have record that it is sent to him. At this time, he uses YET ANOTHER 15 minutes to BERATE me for not choosing their financing because I was a "time sink" and he "would have gotten us a better deal." I'm literally trying to hand him money and he is yelling at me for not getting their financing because I MADE him miss some appointment in the The Villages. Honestly, this whole experience with this dealer has been absolutely disgusting. I can only imagine the pressure they lay on you if you want a new car. My mother was looking for a new car, as well, but she certainly isn't going into Phillips Toyota for it, even if they offer her the moon. More
