My name is Brett Mathis. I have been a Service Advisor for over 6 years now and with Ford for 2 years. I really enjoy my job working for Sunset Ford & Ford Motor Company because it is a line of vehicles I most enjoy, especially Mustangs. Mustang are an area I feel most confident in and enjoy helping customers learn and understand what upgrades are most suitable for the customer’s expectations. I personally own 4 fords including a 1951 Ford Tudor. Last year, I became a Master Certified Service Advisor since I have been here with Sunset Ford. I was born and raised in Saint Louis and proud to work for a dealership that has been in business for over 100 years!

Amazing I had just bought a used vehicle and a warning light came on. Brett came to the rescue and had it looked at and fixed in two hours. Another Grand Slam Sunset Ford and Cory Papillo hit another Grand Slam! My daughter walked into Sunset Ford Tuesday afternoon, asked for Cory and shortly later drove Sunset Ford and Cory Papillo hit another Grand Slam! My daughter walked into Sunset Ford Tuesday afternoon, asked for Cory and shortly later drove off in her FIRST brand new car. Cory found her the car she wanted, the color she wanted, and the options she wanted and even more. Cory's professionalism is not enough of a description of her experience. Above and beyond is closer to it. She was and still is absolutely delighted with her entire buying experience. Thank You Cory, and all the staff at Sunset Ford. I love the constant contact the dealer maintained with me thru texting, I love the fact they took the initiative to contact me even before I had to call to check on my service. Buying a car made easy I had previously purchased a year old 2010 Mustang V6 Convertible in August of 2010 and I'd been happy with the service I've received from Sunset for I had previously purchased a year old 2010 Mustang V6 Convertible in August of 2010 and I'd been happy with the service I've received from Sunset for preventative maintenance, repairs, and upgrades. My Go-To guy Brett Mathis had never steered me wrong, so when the time came to get a second car and go for a bit of an upgrade, I went to Sunset. I had been thinking about another car for a couple of years, and in fact, I had test driven a 2015 EcoBoost Mustang Coupe in the Spring of 2016, and that is when I met Casey Fowler. He was so easy to talk with, did not pressure me, just let me enjoy the car drive. I was so impressed by this, that when I finally decided on getting a new car a year and change later in December 2017, that I looked him up and worked with him. My car was a special order Mustang, and is my company car and both my business partner and I agreed that working with Casey made it go more smoothly than we had hoped for. She finally arrived a couple of days ago and I picked her up yesterday. Until I had gotten to Sunset, my day hadn't been the best, Casey put me right at ease, gave me time to handle an important call I'd been waiting for, and then proceeded to move me through the process quickly and then introduced me to Treff LaPlant for working out the financing and finishing up the paperwork. This was my first time meeting Treff, and he also put me at ease, was equally efficient, and explained everything I was signing and soon it was finished and Casey already had the new car pulled up with a full tank of gas, ready to go. You know what was even better? Several of the service people (including Brett) who knew me from bringing my older Mustang into the shop for maintenance and upgrades, congratulated me on my first new car. This is a family owned business, and there were moments when I felt like I was part of that family too. Later that night, one of my best friends Ken, asked me to bring the new car over and after dinner with he and his wife, we took a ride. Probably wasn't the best time to take a brand new car out; it was lightly raining, and there were some crazy people hitting their brakes suddenly and making turns in front of me without blinkers and the Mustang handled it all perfectly. None of this was able to dampen my spirits. After the drive, I knew that I had chosen the right car, the right options, and the right dealership. Thanks to all of you at Sunset Ford! New car purchase and service center Sunset Ford knocked it out of the park again. We purchased a new Mustang and our salesman, Corey Pupillo was absolutely outstanding. His knowledge of the car we purchased along with his complete understanding of what we were looking for far exceeded our expectations. Corey explained everything from extras on the car to the lifetime warranty with complete proficiency and professionalism. This made the purchase experience both exciting and complete. Next, off to F & I, where Treff LaPlant led us through the maze of paperwork and found us exactly what we were wanting in again a professional and ease of understanding environment, Treff answered every question we had, and spent all the time WE wanted to give us a full understanding of everything we wanted. Service center is second to none. Brett knew exactly what car we bought and gave advice only a person very well versed in his field could do. Sunset Ford and their entire staff knocked it out of the park. A GRAND SLAM! More

Iphone and Sync 3 Had been to the dealership to have my Sync 3 upgraded and was told I needed software version 3 and since I only had version one it was not available. Had been to the dealership to have my Sync 3 upgraded and was told I needed software version 3 and since I only had version one it was not available. I wasn't very pleased since I set up an appointment and was assured the work could be done. I stopped in a couple weeks later and talked with Brett. He said no problem. They would upgrade to two and then install three and add Apple Carplay and since this was the first installation of this upgrade he wanted a particular tech to do it. I waited and the install went perfectly. Took less time then they thought so I saved a little money. Brett is now my go to guy. More

They Looked Out for Me I really enjoy working with people who can sense my needs and desires. Steve could have easily pushed a brand new Mustang on me, but had a better option in mind. He called me when the car was getting cleaned up, when it was done, updated me on several things throughout the week. Steve asked me to send in my credit app so they could work on it. When I got there to test drive the car again, There was something Treff didn't like about one of the approvals, worked on it and got me a better rate. He also sensed my bubble had burst on another issue, but got that resolved. Both these men went to bat for me. I now own a beautiful 2016 Mustang Premium Edition and love it! Thank you! More
