You've been warned. My mother and I were looking to purchase a used Honda CRV 2011 and when we visited this dealership we were directed to Bob. We wanted an all-cash deal but after looking at some CRVs there, we ended up liking a 2010 CRV EX/L that had a low mileage. With taxes + other fees it ended up being above our budget. Bob suggested that we consider making a big down payment and financing a part of it, and since my mom had no credit (she is new to the country) it would help her establish credit. We were introduced to the finance guy who presented us with some financing options. My mother and I are new drivers so we needed to find the best insurance quote (they were high in general which we expected) and we had already gotten one that we could afford from Liberty Mutual. Since it was late Saturday afternoon we needed to wait until Monday for the person at Liberty Mutual to be available and finalize the insurance and hence finalize all the paperwork needed to purchase the car. Bob said that we needed to make a deposit in the meantime, and the deposit is refundable in case the deal falls through for any reason (financing etc. included). We made a deposit. Ultimately we ended up choosing another CRV, 2011, uncertified, with a higher mileage, that we liked in another Honda dealership and that was within our all-cash budget. Bob called me just as we were about to make the deal and I told him about it. He warned me that he thought the deal was fishy since it was an uncertified 2011 and we had to purchase an additional 3 year bumper to bumper warranty. He said that he didn't care where we bought the car, just that he was concerned that we were making the right choice. He also said that the deposit was ours, no question about that. I thanked him and told him I would consider what he said and consulted my husband and mom about it. We still decided to go forward with the car. I called him and told him that we decided to go ahead and asked how we could get the deposit back. He said that the credit card we used for the deposit needed to be on the dealership premises, and we agreed to meet that same day for me to get my refund. When I went back to the dealership, he gave me a "request check" form with the refund details filled up. And then he called one of the other sales people, Ivan Rados. He introduced me to Ivan then proceeded to tell Ivan about my deal - how I chose an unwarrantied car, had to buy additional warranty, etc. It seemed like he was trying to embarrass me in front of Ivan by telling him I made a bad deal. Ivan and I were seated and as he was about to leave Ivan asked him what else he needed to do with me. He shrugged and said, "Nothing" and then stepped out. Even Ivan was confused by his behavior. I said to Ivan, "well, thanks for that!" and proceeded to leave. To Ivan's credit he seemed apologetic and embarrassed for his colleague's behavior. This whole incident, while only mildly annoying to me since I ended up getting a car that my mom and I are happy with, left a bad taste in my mouth. First of all, I was told by the other dealership I bought my car from that I did not need to drive back to the White Plains dealership to get my refund back. But since Bob said I needed to go back personally I did. It turns out that he just wanted to embarrass me. I had thought that Bob had my family's interest at heart when he warned me against the deal. But it seemed like once he didn't get the deal he became unprofessional and downright rude. Sales people should know that customers want to get the best deal - I'm sure they have lost customers to better deals - and that even if they didn't make the deal, should treat customers with respect. Some deals are not made and of course it's considered a waste of their time as sales people but that's part of the job. I hope the manager of this dealership will teach their sales people to be more courteous to customers who end up not purchasing a vehicle. Sorry to say but not all Honda dealerships and sales people are the same. Choose a better one. More

I've come to the U.S. for joining inter-company program. I was looking for Honda pre-owned car and I've visited dozens of shops near my place. In searching web-site, I found out that White Plains H program. I was looking for Honda pre-owned car and I've visited dozens of shops near my place. In searching web-site, I found out that White Plains Honda was having a cool set of used-cars. Though far from where I am living, I drove 2 1/2 hours to get there and saw the cars in person (test drive, too). I'd like to thank to Mr. Bob Mancini showing me his patient and giving me a reduction on the asking price gladly. It drives great without any trouble and I am now experiencing pleasant car-life with my family. I highly recommend this place to buy Honda cars. More

I was searching for a 2011 Honda Pilot Touring and visited 4 Honda dealerships in the area before coming to White Plains Honda. At each of the other 4 dealers, I encountered the kinds of business pra visited 4 Honda dealerships in the area before coming to White Plains Honda. At each of the other 4 dealers, I encountered the kinds of business practices and games that make people really dislike buying a car. When I saw online that White Plains Honda had a vehicle like I was looking for, I contacted them and first spoke with Juan, the used car manager, then with Bob Mancini, my salesperson. They were both honest and upfront, very easy to deal with and in general made the process as painless as possible. Discussions over pricing were easy and honest. They had no problem with the fact that I had pre-arranged my own financing and never tried to force me to use their own internal financing as another dealer had done. Very simply, there were no games. Even when my own financing source (credit union) proved to be extremely difficult to deal with, they were very patient and continued to go out of their way to keep the deal together. Weeks after my purchase, I had a question about my tag/registration and Bob was very quick to return my call and answer my questions. When the dealership received my tags (from Florida), Bob contacted me to let me know he would be overnighting them to me. I would definitely purchase another vehicle from White Plains Honda in the future. More

I purchased a "certified" honda civic lx from this dealership that turned out to be a bad investment. I purchased it with two conditions; that a shake in the stearing wheel was fixed and the clu this dealership that turned out to be a bad investment. I purchased it with two conditions; that a shake in the stearing wheel was fixed and the clutch be adjusted because it was sloppy. When I test drove the car it was not certified yet and received a call the following day that it had gone through the certification process. I drove it the second time and nothing had been fixed and it didnt feel like much was done to certify the car. Needless to say, after 4 trips back and forth to the dealership trying to get the problem fixed (they kept rebalancing the tires and said it was fine) I brought it into a different dealership to assess. The second dealership knew right away that it was a bent axel and was perplexed that a dealership would sell it to me like that. I had to pay $800 out of pocket and was never reimbursed. It was very difficult to reach the sales manager at White Plains and I seemed to be a hassle everytime I came in to try to fix the car I bought from them. More

My experience was good with one exception. I had a satellite radio installed and expected it to be integrated with my radio but it isn't, and I asked for a refund but was given all weather mats and a satellite radio installed and expected it to be integrated with my radio but it isn't, and I asked for a refund but was given all weather mats and a cargo tray instead. When the car first came in, it was listed at $16,495. When I asked Bob what was the best he could do, he said $16,900. When I pointed out that was more than the sticker price, he amended it to $15,995, at which point I filled out preliminary paper work. The next day I checked your web site and the car was listed for $15,495. I called Bob and we redid the paper work at that price. Five days later I checked your site again and the price was $14,617. I called Bob and told him I wasn't paying $15,495 if it was listed for $900 less. He said he would talk to his boss and get back to me, and I bought the car for $14,617. Your office didn't have their act together, but I am not complaining since I benefited. More

Every dea I commute to the city via Metro North, I wasn't looking for an expensive used car. I visited six (6) different dealerships in the two days. Every dealership tried to sell me any and every car. I met with Bob Mancini and he was resposive to what I was looking for and didn't waste my time trying to sell me something I didn't want or need. I felt that Bob was genuinely interested in finding me the car that I wanted, which I didn't experiene from anyone else this weekend. Because of Bob's hard work, he got the sale. It was a pleasure doing business with him and I plan on buying from him again. More

Purchasing a used vehicle was not easy and quite frankly, I thought it was going to be a nightmare. I shopped around... ALOT. It took me about 6 months and I finally found White Plains Honda. The CRV was c I thought it was going to be a nightmare. I shopped around... ALOT. It took me about 6 months and I finally found White Plains Honda. The CRV was competetively priced. I couldn't find a comparable vehicle in that price range anywhere else. I believe I got a great deal. Not just a great deal, I got a great salesperson, Bob. Really nice guy, professional, and he knew how to follow up without being pushy. He made the transition almost seamless. I basically drove off the lot without anything to worry about. He took care of all the DMV and insurance stuff. Sylvia, the receptionist, even called me up a week later to see how I was doing with my new used vehicle. They even told me to call them if I run into any problems in the future (I hope I don't have to, but it's nice to know that there is someone I can reach out to). Bottom line, I WILL do business with them again. I've been telling all my friends and family about my wonderful experience. If you're looking for a Honda/Acura, go see Bob Mancini at White Plains Honda. Tell him Annie sent you. More
