Great out of state car buying experience I had recently found out that the Shelby Mustang GT350 had been discontinued a few months back. I had intended to buy one in a year or two, but reali I had recently found out that the Shelby Mustang GT350 had been discontinued a few months back. I had intended to buy one in a year or two, but realized that I had waited too long. None were available anywhere in my area (Chicagoland, IL), and in fact on autotrader.com, I found a total of 3 for sale in the entire U.S. Two of them were in Las Vegas and the dealer had marked them both up an additional $20K. The other was at LongMcArthur Ford and to my surprise, the car wasn't marked up at all, and in fact may even have been discounted some. I figured that there was no way the car would actually still be available, but emailed them about it anyway. I was surprised to hear that the car was in fact available. Living over 600 miles away though, I was concerned about being able to buy a car that far away, and also that I may not be able to get there in time to before someone else got it. After all, it was only one of three Shelby Mustang GT350's left for sale in the entire U.S., and who can just up and take a 600 mile trip on a moments notice? Not to worry, Shelby Weis (who awesome is that.... the saleswoman's name is Shelby) informed me that the purchase could be handled remotely and I could get the car delivered and that I could put a deposit to ensure no one else bought it first. Bill Rogge handled the sale from there, and it must be said that they have a very efficient system set up at LongMcArthur, where people handle specific aspects of the sale to make the whole process very smooth. Shelby Weis handled the online part of the sale, Bill Rogge handled the overall sale, getting me a fantastic 1.75% finance rate. Paperwork was overnighted to me to sign everything, and they provided a postage-paid return envelope as well to send the paperwork back to them. I had initially intended to pick the car up, but this proved difficult. Not to worry, they'll deliver the car for you! For $750, the car was shipped to me. Considering it would have taken me two days to get the car from there back home again myself, not to mention having to have someone dog-sit for me, someone to drive me there, gas money, and also over 600 miles on my new car, this is a fantastic deal. Not just monetarily, but convenience-wise as well. Darrin Hurd handled the shipping and everything went smoothly and he made sure to keep me updated and also checked to make sure everything went OK with the delivery and that I was happy with the car. All in all, a great experience and these guys clearly know the ropes when it comes to dealing with out of state car buyers. The fact that they didn't mark the price up to gouge the customer when other dealers were doing the same thing recently speaks to the kind of people they are at LongMcArthur. Long McArthur Ford just makes it easy to buy a new car. From the time you enter the door, they are friendly. Bill Rogge is so easy going, shows us what the dealership had, gave us choices, really listened to us. We have bought 3 new vehicles from Long McArthur, 2 in the last 90 days. I wouldn't go to any other Ford dealership to buy a vehicle! More

Have purchased / leased several vehicles from Long / McArthur in the past. Feel comfortable with the sales staff, feel all options are laid out for us and are made as easy to understand as possible. Had a good experience with everyone we dealt with! Bill did what he could to get us into a vehicle we were looking for as close as he could on price. My husband and I came to have our truck serviced. Eric Johnson did a great job of servicing it. While we were waiting for this, Bill Rogge showed us a new Escape that we bought. This was our 2nd trip to Long McArthur after the pleasant experience we had 6 years ago when purchasing a vehicle. We received the same quality service and experience we received last time.
