I have been with our team at Phillipsburg Easton Honda since May of 2013. I have been very fortunate to hold many roles here at our dealership. I am from Allentown, PA and have been assisting customers with their auto purchases since 2008 when I graduated high school. I love spending a lot of time at the dealership to assist as many customers and employee's as possible. When I am off I enjoying spending time with my wife and friends. I am an Philly sports fan through and through supporting all the Philly teams through good times and bad. Apart from that I am glad and fortunate to be able to support local organizations like Shop With A Cop and other local police organizations.

I had an unfortunate experience at Phillipsburg-Easton Honda that left me feeling violated, bullied, and misled. I came to the dealership to turn in my lease, and my experience took a turn for the worse w Honda that left me feeling violated, bullied, and misled. I came to the dealership to turn in my lease, and my experience took a turn for the worse when I encountered Al Hernandez, the Manager. Initially, I was greeted by a friendly staff member, but things went downhill when Al Hernandez took over. From the start, Al was extremely hostile. He began listing potential fees from Honda Corporate, including an end-of-term fee, a storage fee (which seemed arbitrary at $300 a day), damage fees (despite his own inspection confirming the car was in good condition), and vague "other fees." My husband and I had no intention of purchasing another vehicle at this dealership; we simply wanted to return our lease. It was evident that Al was displeased with this, and he made passive-aggressive comments like, "Why didn't the dealer where you purchased your new car help you return your lease?" and "If you didn't buy the car here, why are you returning it here?" It's important to note that any Honda dealer should be able to accept the return of a leased car. We had originally leased the car from a Honda dealer located nearly two hours away at the shore. Al's attempt to dissuade us from leaving the car with him reached absurd levels, with him suggesting that Honda would charge us an exorbitant amount (I exaggerate, but it certainly felt that way) to leave the car with him. We had called the dealership the day before and were informed by Patti that no appointment was necessary for the return. However, upon arrival, Al requested inspection paperwork and instructed us to contact Honda Corporate for turn-in paperwork and a payment statement. This was baffling, as this was my third time returning a Honda lease, and I had never encountered such requests. Even the Honda agent on the phone was perplexed by the additional documentation Al was demanding. This is when the situation escalated. Exhausted and frustrated, we requested that Al simply take the car back, and that's when he became openly hostile, raising his voice and asserting his 32 years of experience. My husband stepped in to defend me, all while we were carrying our sick toddler. The situation deteriorated further when another individual named Anthony Sherman joined the fray, yelling in the middle of the dealership, slamming our keys on a table, and ordering us to leave. Honda's representative even called the dealership, requesting that they allow us to leave the car, but Al Hernandez and Anthony Sherman ignored the request. We had no choice but to leave. I want to emphasize that this review is a warning to potential customers. I visited another Honda dealership where I was welcomed with coffee, snacks, a straightforward lease return process, and a courteous send-off. The stark contrast between my experiences at these two Honda dealerships is glaring. Mr. Hernandez's demand for excessive paperwork and the hostile atmosphere created by him and Anthony Sherman were entirely unwarranted. It might be time for Mr. Hernandez to consider retirement if he cannot provide a better customer experience. If you're not planning to make a new purchase and remain a lifelong customer, I strongly advise looking elsewhere. Based on my experience, this dealership is one to avoid. I will soon update my review with a link to a video that captures the hostile encounter. More

On April 6th, I canceled my warranties for my new car. I was told it would take 4-6 weeks to see the money applied to the principle on the loan. After a month of waiting, I called, left voicemails, and emailed numerous times. Every time I did get a call back, they would tell me to give it more time. This week, I finally spoke to someone who would help. The dealership found out the refund never went through, so now I have to wait another 4-6 weeks to see if they did it correctly. I was told I would be refunded $3,369.87. I questioned this. I said the warranties should be $3,494. They said Honda will do that amount. I also asked if I would be getting a refund on the interest that I paid the past couple months because of Honda's error. The dealership told me the interest cannot be refunded. I am paying for the dealership's mistake. I expected the dealership to apologize and to try to make things right. Unfortunately, it's been stressful and disappointing. More

0 star but I had to choose one This place is the most deceiving place ever! They trap you into a deal that's appealing to you but lie straight to your face. Check your paperwork because I believed everyt deceiving place ever! They trap you into a deal that's appealing to you but lie straight to your face. Check your paperwork because I believed everything they said to me and receive my bill and don't understand how I owe all this money with a lot of money down! They never offered me a low interest rate and sucked me into a lease without giving me any information. I asked them what the catch was and he said there is no catch you'll have a lower payment and can buy it in the end for sticker price. Me trusting in them decided to believe them because who lies straight to your face ? They do Jason, Gino, and Anthony the gm manager. As I spoke to him on the phone he said I had a good deal I don't know what I'm talking about and wouldn't let me speak, spoke over me demanding I come in and speak with them because the paperwork on file does not match🤔 I'm disgusted and ashamed that we have people like this in this business they're suppose to help you and don't which there's money unaccounted for so where did that go?I have never felt so taken advantage of they robbed me blind so stay clear! I wish there was a charge to get them for abuse of they young and naive because they sure got me. They shall receive lots of karma for their actions because I'm sure I am not the only one. They shouldn't even be in business. Absolutely terrible place More

Can't believe what just happened at Phillipsburg Honda. They went through making up the sales slip and had me transfer insurance, then presented the paperwork with an $800 mark up in price that they tried to hide from us. After making a payment on my 2019 gmc after the agreement they adjusted the trade value and changed my new registration to a transfer registration but still marked as the same price and didn't inform us about the changes in pricing adjustment. When asked to speak to a manager three times we were ignored. Got my deposit back and left the most unsatisfied I've ever left a car dealer. I expected more from Phillipsburg Honda. So disappointing 😕 More

What a wonderful experience we had at Phillipsburg Easton Honda! If you want to be lied to and treated like garbage by a patronizing car salesman, go to Phillipsburg Easton Honda and speak with Anthony Sherm Honda! If you want to be lied to and treated like garbage by a patronizing car salesman, go to Phillipsburg Easton Honda and speak with Anthony Sherman! We were met at the front by a man chainsmoking cigarettes at the front door. The brand new car we test drove reeked of cigarettes after he drove it up. After test driving the vehicle, we had the pleasure of having zero time before they sat us down and immediately started talking numbers. I asked common questions about features, warrantee, how this vehicle compared to the competitors, and they were all met with arrogant responses such as "Just vomit all over my recommendations" any time he met any resistance or difference in opinion. The attitude and how condescending this guy was was shocking. You're a car salesman Anthony. Congratulations. The facility itself was dirty and unorganized, every other dealership we've been to has been significantly more well kept and updated. The only good thing I have to say about this place is that Derrick was a decent guy. If you're reading this review wondering if you should purchase a vehicle here, I wouldn't recommend it. Even if you have a pleasant experience during the purchase, will that pleasant experience continue when you need to bring your vehicle in for servicing? Or will you have an experience like ours once they no longer need to hold up the facade? Take your business elsewhere, otherwise, good luck. More
