You will need a DeVine intervention to help you with either a $5000 repair or to help you trade out of a vehicle that is worth $16,000 less than what you owe. As I already stated --- we have truly reached a low point in our society when anybody would refer to others as "incompetent human beings".
This has nothing to do with a lack of honesty, transparency, accountability competency on the part of our team. The work we performed was diagnosed properly and any subsequent issues would have never been discovered without that repair. We also performed a Service Campaign and a Factory Recall issued by Kia Motors America in 2022 and 2023. In fact, there is a very good chance that had the computer update been performed in 2022 you may not be in this situation.
I learned as a child "sometimes the truth hurts". Your truth must be extremely painful. You owe $16,000 more than you vehicle is worth and your vehicle has not been properly maintained resulting in a failed engine. You also failed to let us know that your vehicle has been serviced at another shop 5 times in the past year -- what were the issues and why not let us know? If you demand accountability I suggest you look elsewhere. We are very proud of the business we operate and will lean on the 7000+ reviews posted by our customers. Sincerely, Jim Russomano, Owner

The misdiagnosis of my vehicle not only inconvenienced me but also eroded my trust in your establishment's professionalism and competency.
As a paying customer, I expect honesty, transparency, and accountability from the services I engage with. Unfortunately, my experience with Kia Nutley has left me questioning the integrity of your establishment and the quality of your services. My dissatisfaction stems from the misdiagnosis of my vehicle, which not only inconvenienced me but also revealed a concerning lack of professionalism and competence on your part.
Moreover, the dismissive attitude displayed towards my legitimate grievances raises troubling questions about the possibility of racial bias within your establishment. As a member of a marginalized community, I cannot help but wonder if my experience would have been different had I not been a person of color. Like i said you all are crooks and racist scammers. You nor your staff were helpful and you know that. How does a bill go from$600 to $6,000. You and your staff are incompetent human beings. I would think twice before doing business with this unethical organization.

Many reviews say the same thing about your company. You charge people for an issue that you never fix Then you play dumb after the customer pays in cash. Customer drives home and the issue arises. U then say oh sorry its actually 6000 for repairs. 10 times the said amount and the problem was never fixed to begin with. You try to then lead someone to buy a car from you. Youre scammers. BUYER BEWARE OF KIA NUTLEY. Bad business. Awful people.

Unfortunately your misguided accusation and inaccurate assessment of the facts will not repair or replace your vehicle. If I were in your position I would be angry just not with Nutley Auto. You may want to bring your vehicle back to the dealership that has been servicing (or not) your vehicle for the past few years. These issues did not just occur with your 1st visit to Nutley Auto at 109,000 miles.

Do NOT give the owners, Jim and Ann Russomano, ANY of your money. They are rude, curt, unsympathetic, and extremely unprofessional. They could not figure out why a BRAND NEW CAR purchased from THEM, (only 9 -months old, with 5000 miles)....continues to die and conk out, repeatedly every week.
The service manager, Randall Ellis,, is incompetent and also rude and unprofessional. He actually told me he is "embarrassed" that he could not figure out what was wrong with my car.
Ann, the owner, said to me very rudely in a text message and email, to pick up my car or they will charge me for the loaner and for storing my car. I told her she was so disrespectful after waiting patiently for 5 weeks for them to fix my car and never called to complain...even though it was over the holidays. After all of those weeks, they admitted they did not have a resolution.
A few weeks later, the same issue came up. I called to explain the tow truck is bringing the car back. Jim, the other owner and Ann's husband, called me to told me, very rudely, not bring the car back, again with no resolution. He was so nasty to me, my husband had to interject about the tone he used with me. He said he has the right as a private business to not service my car, even though it was purchased from them.
Overall, they failed over and over as a business. They did not show any empathy for me as a customer, they did not recommend another dealer / service center that had more experience, they did not offer any suggestions for a resolution, they did not offer to change the battery that kept dying, and they did not test drive the car to try to duplicate the issue.
I filed complaints with Kia Corporate, BBB, and NJMVC.
Additionally, as you can see from other negative reviews, they are combative with customers who do not accept their mediocre service and will in fact BLAME THE CUSTOMER for their short comings. Ann and Jim are bullies. As such, I strongly recommend that you DO NOT patronize NUTLEY KIA. They do not deserve your time or your money.

Your review is long on your continued verbal (now written) abuse and short on the necessary details. The single reason I asked you to no longer bring you vehicle in for service is because of your treatment of my staff. Randal and his team, mostly woman, are traumatized by their multiple interactions with you. It seems that you believe by insulting and treating women and men with disrespect you will get what you want. And then when you are respectfully called out for your behavior you hide in behind your husband and an anonymous review.
The missing facts:
1.) You purchased an electric vehicle from Nutley Auto Kia, we were the only dealership in the district that was not charging $ thousands over MSRP for new vehicles.
2.) You charge your vehicle at public charging stations, and you claim your vehicle was not holding a charge when sitting in your driveway.
3.) Nutley Auto had possession of your vehicle on multiple occasions and each time we charged your vehicle on our in-house charger we never experienced any loss of power or charge. We were never able to duplicate your concern. And each time you were provided with a loaner vehicle.
4.) Our extremely talented team consulted with engineers from Kia Corporate throughout the process, one even came on site and could not duplicate your concern. At no point did Kia Corporate offer to replace the battery on your vehicle under warranty because your concern could not be validated.
5.) Prior to responding to your review this morning, I responded to six 5 Star reviews with many positive comments about the treatment by our staff, that is simply who we are. You can write whatever you want about me (even when it is untrue), but I refuse to allow you to inflict any more of your punishment upon my staff. They all deserve better.
6.) The experience with you was not about being incompetent, rude, combative, embarrassed, etc. It was simply about your mistreatment of our staff. We are entering our 19th year in business and take no joy in parting ways with any customers. In this case we had to do what was right by our employees.
7.) While driving the loaner vehicles provided by us you racked up EZPass toll charges that you now refuse to pay.
