A little over a month ago. I picked this dealership because they had a 3 day exchange policy. I told the car salesman (Yamon) that I was looking to finance a car for $7000 or less that was SAFE. He showed me one car has me test drive it and asked me if I like it, I said yes because it was an ok car. He told me to give him a minute and next thing I knew he is asking how much I want to put down on the car. That one yes turned into I want to buy this car, since it seem like a nice car and in my price range (on the high end) I decided to go for it. He said that I could exchange the car anytime within 3 days and even bragged about the fact that only 2 customers have ever wanted to exchange a car after buying. After waiting hours, I'm called to the office and I'm told it took so long because I have a soft credit score of 790, that didn't sound right. Turns out the car that cost $6700 they ask the bank for an $11000 loan. The extra loan amount was coming from them adding two warranties for almost $4000 without asking me once if this was what I wanted. One warranty was for if anything breaks on the car which I would have agreed to get had they asked because the car had over 120,000 miles on it already. The other warranty was just a GAP insurance which I did not need, but instead of waiting for a few more hours for them to correct this I figured I would cancel it later on my own. So I sign all of the papers including the paper saying that I had 3 day to exchange as long as I did not go over 150 miles. I finally get out of there and go home. That night on my way to work the car hesitated when I went to start it up and right there I knew that I did not feel safe in that car. After trying again it started just fine, but then I found out that the controller for the side mirrors was not working which meant electrical problems. I don't know what caused that to happen but I work 3rd shift and I need to feel safe with my car. So I decided to take the car back and exchange it. I get back to the dealership in the morning after work to exchange the car. I tell them that I don't feel safe and the reasons why, they spend a few minutes telling me that they can fix the mirrors and the car started up fine when they tried it. I just wanted a car I could feel safe in and I told them so, I have to wait for them to come and tell me that my car was not qualified for the 3 day exchange because it was over 100,000 miles. I pointed out that I was told that it was and that I had even sign papers saying it was. They said they would fix this since they made a mistake. Their plan was to buy the car back and sale me another one but this would cost me a couple thousand dollars because they couldn't buy the car for what they sold me. I had the car for two day and only drove it for 90 miles and it was costing me a couple thousand dollars, I was very angry at myself and them. I was tired and just wanted to be in a safe car so I said fine. After finding a car that I would feel safe in, I had to wait over 7 hours for everything. The new car which cost over $7000 plus the over $2000 loss in value that was now added to my cost, plus the now over $5000 for three warranties (which they once again didn't bother to ask if I wanted), had my loan at over $15,000 on a car that when was brand new cost a little over $16,000. I week later I got a few letters in the mail tailing the reason that I was rejected for the car loan was due to "Excessive loan to collateral value". Three different banks sent me that same reason. To cancel the warranties I had to go back to the dealership. After owning the car for less then a month. The car turns out to have a cracked water pump. So another unsafe car. After taking the car back to the dealership they didn't offered any loaner car so I was stuck with no car until they could fix the problem. After 7 day with no car and a very angry phone call later I finally got this lemon back which I plan to sell as soon as I can. So if you are not a mechanic or have one with you STAY AWAY. More
