I would not recommend this place for your service needs. Their service writers lack in the realm of customer service. I have had two rather large jobs done there and both times returned within a day or two with problems. Which they then accused me of causing. I had a brand new engine installed and they had my car for 23 days and it was only supposed to be 14. The service writer I worked with rarely called me with updates and would only return my call if I called. I picked up my car and within 20 minutes my check engine light was on. I brought it back to Cortese and they had failed to connect something in the engine. They also tried to charge me for parts they broke on the engine install. I recently brought the same car in to have the fly wheel, torque converter, and transmission fluid pump replaced. I never heard from anyone for 2.5 days. The only reason I got a call was because I called and left multiple messages only to find out that my service writer had left and my car was passed to someone else. The only time I heard from that person was a text that said my car was ready for pickup. Three days went by and my transmission started slipping. I honestly did not even want to call because my interactions with their customer service has not been a pleasant experience. I ended up calling and speaking to Darren who is now my service writer and he told me they never even touched the transmission which is a lie. Basically came off like this is a new problem that needs to be addressed. I explained to him that my car wasn’t doing this prior to being brought into Cortese Ford and he said well they didn’t touch the transmission basically discrediting me. I had my husband call and Darren quickly changed his tune when my husband pointed out that the torque converter and the transmission fluid pump both would require the transmission to be touched. I was still told that the earliest they could get me in to look at it is Thursday. I fortunately traded this vehicle in today so I will never have to deal with Cortese Fords service department/writers again. More
